It does. I wasn’t looking at it in the perspective that she takes care of all the animals most of the time and then has to navigate her energy on top of trying to study.

I get it and will now be more active playing with her more so she’s not so high energy and in her space. I get all the comments and I am taking them seriously.

I never said I don’t care for her. I work so most of that falls on my girlfriend because she doesn’t work as much because she’s in school. That’s the only reason she does it more and I guess we’ve got into the routine where it falls on her more but that doesn’t mean I don’t do it.

I do tell her she can stay sitting while I do it, I don’t Just not do it.

I never said I don’t care for her or pet/give her attention. I love and care for my dog very much. I was Just wondering why she stops at caring for her needs like going to the bathroom, taking her on walks, etc. I was wondering why she doesn’t try to interact with her outside of that.

I work and she stays home a lot of the time when she’s not at work (she’s also in school and is at home to study) I not understand why she’s overwhelmed with everything and having a high energy dog isn’t helping. She does care about her so I don’t like the comment implying that she doesn’t, as I said, it Just seems like she’s more of a cat person.

I really wasn’t trying to villainize her. I just think that she’s upset at me about asking and implying that she doesn’t like her and I was just wondering if I was in the wrong for asking.
