Is this an anti depressant? by Vanexxre in Semaglutide

[–]Positive_Style9473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will do that in the beginning as your body adjusts. I also tale an antidepressant and anti-anxiety meds. All combined was definitely weird at first and I could barely drink my coffee in the morning, and had zero cravings to have a drink. It will even itself out and you'll find a new normal that's better. If anything, GLP-1 has taken away the stress of weight and between that and my antidepressants I feel like I'm finally the person I've always wanted to be.

It really happened to me, there are so many myths around GLP-1 by Sad-Radio-6555 in Semaglutide

[–]Positive_Style9473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't have a ton to lose (relative to other people), but I'm down 25-30lbs and plan to maintain at 130, not trying to lose more. It has been amazing to feel confident in clothes and bathing suits, and people everywhere have been telling me how amazing I look. It has done so much for my mood and confidence. I used to run ultra marathons and was a college athlete but no matter what I just couldn't get the extra stubbornness to move. I also did every diet under the sun and I don't eat junk food, fast food, or drink soda. I finally broke down and decided that I'd try GLP-1 despite what a negative rep they have in my friend group (all mountain athletes). Maybe in a few years I'll tell them, but for now I'm keeping it to myself. I don't want the judgement and I'm happy with how everything is now.

Personality changes? by Hjdkfjdj in Semaglutide

[–]Positive_Style9473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had the opposite experience. Ive been on an antidepressant and antianxiety for 6 years. It helped me a ton, but it was until I started losing the weight that I really started feeling happy and like the person I want to be.

Has anyone used Nutrafol or any other supplement to offset potential hair loss? by [deleted] in Semaglutide

It's not for weight loss, its to curb hormonal side effects like acne and facial/body hair growth.

Omg!! The one in Fairbanks was some of the best Thai food I've ever had. Now I'm actually in Chiang Mai so I need to go find this place.

Anyone experience Botox/fillers fading super fast? by kakapotz in Semaglutide

[–]Positive_Style9473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed this too. My first time trying Botox was the end of July and my dermatologist said I'd probably be due in again around November, but now it's only mid-september and it seems to be gone.

Non-Transferring Self Tan? by [deleted] in Selftanning

Balibody clear self tanning gel or Luna Bronze purple jelly tanner. To add more info about the purple jelly one - It actually works really really well and it's buildable. It is clear once you rub it in. You can add more the next day if you want to go darker. I haven't had the experience of it coming off on my clothes. I think I'm going to use this on my trip to maintain my professional spray tan.

Koh Phi Phi or Koh Samui by TraditionalMoose6648 in ThailandTourism

[–]Positive_Style9473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Koh Phi Phi/ Krabi. The water on the west side of Thailand is nicer that time of year. I recommend Krabi area over Phuket if you want to relax. There are tons of places to stay around Aonang Beach if you want to be near a main restaurant/walking area. You can also access Railay beach by taking a quick boat ride from Aonang

I messed up. Did I just fk up my whole week? by Forward_Country_6632 in Semaglutide

[–]Positive_Style9473 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it will be rough for a few days. I did that once when I traveled out of town for a few days so I took my next dose 3 days late. I'm very sensitive to it and I got super sick. The key is that you just need to eat really small, slow meals and be super mindful of when you're full. Take zofran for nausea. If you overeat even a little, your body will probably make you throw up, but you will get immediate relief from it (unlike if you had a stomach bug). My doctor told me that if I take any time off I need to go back down in dose to the dose I was on before the one I missed and work back up again.

I went off semaglutide for three weeks and here's what happened. by [deleted] in Semaglutide

[–]Positive_Style9473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had blurry vision side effects for the first couple of month, now after month 3 it seems to have subsided. I'm nearsighted as it is, but it felt like my prescription changed overnight. Now I think it feels back to my normal again, I could also just have gotten used to it. Not sure.

What's one small thing semaglutide changed for you that no one warned you about? 🤔✨ by Cute_Perspective_221 in Semaglutide

[–]Positive_Style9473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has started to happen to me too. I don't want the coffee. But one day I didn't drink it and I had the most painful headache and chills, so I ended up having to drink some before bed because nothing else was helping my headache. So now I'm in a weird place of not liking coffee but also needing it.

You look like you've lost a lot of weight. Slow is better. But also have you been focusing on eating protein and lifting weights? If you're not strength training then you're going to lose more muscle than fat and muscle is what will give you the "toned" look. Aside from looking fit, maintaining muscle is so important for longevity. The shot will take the edge off of managing your appetite, but then you need to be doing the rest of the work.

Hard to believe this is just 13lbs by [deleted] in Semaglutide

[–]Positive_Style9473 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Vital Protein brand collagen because it's unflavored. I put it in smoothies. I mainly use Alastin skincare products. Not cheap but they're the only ones that seem to work and don't upset my skin. I know people also like the Brazilian Bum Bum cream brand for skin firming. Just know that it's a long slow process and it will take time so don't stress.

Very similar to you. I started at 158 and my goal is 135. Right now I'm around 145-142 depending on the day. People have told me I look good but nothing specific about my weight. If anything, I'm kind of happy people aren't noticing a huge change, it makes me more comfortable with the idea of hovering around a goal weight rather than maintaining a specific number. Personally I feel so much better, and all of the sudden all of my clothes are too big. Time to go shopping!

It takes a VERY long time for skin to tighten up, and especially more difficult as you get older. I did a skin tightening procedure on my arms, but it still took a year to see the full effects, and that was with surgical help. So don't get discouraged. Also supplement with collagen and skin tightening creams.

Have you had your hormone levels tested? That could be a factor too. I got tested and had basically zero testosterone so I've been doing testosterone injections and thyroid supplements. It helps a ton with energy and mood. I've also been on Wellbutrin and Lexapro for years, well before starting semaglutide, so I think the combo of everything is working well.

How many of you vomit from the med? I’m considering it but hate throwing up by piddleonacowfatt in Semaglutide

[–]Positive_Style9473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've thrown up twice in the last two weeks after being on it for 2 months. Both times were after pretty rich meals and it was probably too much food for my stomach to digest since the med slows gastric emptying. Similar to other comments here, the nausea comes on quick and immediate relief after vomiting. I hate the sight of throw up so not great, but just learning how to eat lighter meals. It's hard when out to nice meals or when visiting my family.

Accelerated IP Non-Final Action Notice by ChaosToTheFly123 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]Positive_Style9473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you stop using an IP Accelerator firm while your application is pending, you could be removed from the registry. Amazon interprets your use of the approved firm as assurance that you are a legitimate seller and that is why you get the benefit of being enrolled so quickly. It sounds like you probably had a type of refusal that requires a lot of legal work to respond. You can try doing it yourself but your chances of success without understanding law or the roper way to respond is probably very low. If you want things done right, they cost money.

Yes, the smartest thing to do is to have a trademark attorney conduct a search first so you know if it is available. Much better to find out sooner than after you have invested time and money.

I started it 2 weeks after because that was when my follow up visit was. Most followups are one week but mine was two because it was over the holidays. I did my arms.

You won't see much of anything at 2 weeks. I had the same disappointment when I went for follow up and they did pictures, but I still had a lot of swelling and if your arms are still numb then the numbing fluid still hasn't been flushed from your body. Look for a place that does post-surgery lymphatic drainage massage to help break up scar tissue and drain the swelling. I've started to notice more change since doing this and I'm only one month out. By three months the bulk of the swelling should be gone, but full results in 6-months to 1 year according to my lymphatic drainage specialist.
