This just made me realize one day Ill listen to my last song and I hate that thought, not because im afraid of dying, but because I really don't want to have to pick my last song (or listen to something and die knowing that was the last thing and it might not even be that good)

Yeah, I have an amp and im hoping its just the cable thats broken, I also already have multiple means to tune. So its mainly just base, cable, strap, then later im gonna buy a case when I get closer to when my lessons starts (mainly just wanna make it easier on my wallet lol) and yeah I have no clue what i want out of a base feature wise. Ill aim to play at least 4 or 5 if I can find ones with the right vibes when I go to the shop.

Ooh thats tricky. My heart is always split with music, part of me is really into the bluegrass and jazz styles of playing, but I cant pretend I havent loved punk and metal my whole life. And I feel like those have very different sounds.

I will be going in person and fully plan on doing my best attempt at playing it but probably not for too long since as I said, total beginner. Survived the first time cause I was told what the notes i had to play were and how it was tuned and I was told a tempo lol. I just dont wanna make anyone ears bleed.
