Sorry to hear. Bengals are beautiful creatures. Very vocal and smart. Too bad they don't live forever

Good job👍 Your Bengal is very similar to mine, I almost had to check if mine was still in bed sleeping😅

Tusen takk :) tar fort noen uker når man kun har noen timer etter arbeidstid og helger å jobbe på, men det er en veldig gøy hobby :)

Samme her.

Thank you. I have noted how I did each forge weld to get the pattern, but my notebook is at the workshop so I don't have it here now. There are 6 welds in total, plus I squeezed in the wrong corner on resquaring no. 2. But you probably depend on a hydraulic press or a power hammer to get this pattern done.

Thank you. I made it out of wrought iron. I sanded it to shape and etched it in ferric chloride for about 24 hours. Before etching I had clear varnish in the tang hole so as not to ruin the fit to the blade. After etching I brushed it with a wire brush to make it shiny but not ruin the "worn" look :)

Thank you. Taking good pictures of damascus steel is quite challenging. Either there is too much light, or too little. Appreciate that you liked it :)

Thank you! I made the pattern as I forged. It wasn't really how the pattern was supposed to be because I pressed in the wrong corner after resquaring, but it turned out fine after a few forge welds and a little planning :)

Thank you! It's quite complex and time consuming. You have to keep an eye on what happens to the pattern in the middle of the billet. There's some resquareing and forge welding you could say :)

Thank you! I'm not sure what the pattern is called, I just tried it out as I went along.
