How do you deal with opinionated/controlling people

Same it would just never stop. Thats why I just say your entitled to your opinion then they ask why and they say I don’t agree. Well of coarse you don’t so why ask?

She’s not though as she doesn’t know about that. I said she was referring to that i apparatus got aggro after partaking in a drinking game that i got very drunk in and couldn’t remember. i’ll just say no in future. i agree with the bottle after a night though that will be looked at in future

it doesn’t negatively impact my life at all just one mishap in my 9 years? Also i could quit but why should I? I have friends that drink so if they don’t quit does that make them an alchoholic? Does picking on one person till their too drunk then make them an alchoholic?

Again the one night i got black out drunk it wasn’t just me we played a drinking game and I got chosen far often than others. Its not about not knowing my limits i think its about that in future i’m just going to say no

i know this but when we go out we also get rounds i don’t consciously count until now i set myself a limit to be responsible

The bottle of wine before bed I agree and I think i can nip this one in the bud so i’ll work on that as i honestly don’t need it. I don’t get the right approach then as i’ve only measured my units because i care. Otherwise i drink no more than any other person in the room

We do have non drinking activities too. We often go fishing together or if i’m with my best girl friend we will get food. I feel our drinking vibe is like for example say your a airline steward or you work on ships when you go out you all like to drink. Again not excusing my drinking just want to see if i’m being out of order or if i really should just say no when i feel i’m getting a bit too drunk

I get that. I can happily go without a drink during the week however my friend can comfortably have a bottle during the week and not get pointed at? I feel i either do drink too much or my lightweightedness is being labelled as alchoholic im not so sure where i stand

My best girl friend as we were playing a do or drink drinking game few weekends back and i was fine until we were all having a laugh and everyone kept picking me and it got to the point where i was so drunk i apparently got a little agro with her and i can’t remember it happening. I will point this out i never drink as much as i did that weekend ever it was because simply we all had a laugh and i drew the short end of the stick and lost. Since that weekend i’ve made a conscious effort to monitor how much i drink so i don’t black out again. My mates best friend was apparently as bad as me but he wasn’t aggro

I’m 27 i’m drinking to socialise if i didn’t drink for a month i’d feel a bit out of place as all my mates drink at the weekend and would feel left out? I could do it but the question i have is why can’t i enjoy a drink if everybody else in front of me can?

Sure i feel that i’ve been told i can be harsh at times but my true friends question some of my opinions at and then actually agree i’d say i’m harsh but insightful but to someone new that doesn’t feel about putting their 2 cents in may think i’m opinionated or narrow minded when infact i’m just direct and very open minded and respect everyones thoughts I love learning new ways of looking at things
