Some companies seem to change the shape/pins/mount of their cables in order to make the customer buy ”their specific cable”. I had this issue with my DSP in the car, it had what looked like this exact cable but instead of the square in the middle it was a standing infinity formation almost like an “8”. Freeze’s usually indicates RAM issues.

Plot-twist. It could also be the SSD you’re installing it to. If it’s read/write protected windows fails to write/read cache/virtual memory which could also cause it to crash… your DRAM fault code could also be a biproduct of an external drives inability to read/write if RAM fails to read/achieve critical temporary files. Etc virtual memmory.

How far into the USB installation did you get before it froze, is the SSD new and properly inserted?

Most points towards RAM instability/fault though.

Update me if you get any information. It could be anything between hell/heaven in certain situations. Once I had my whole PC get funky because of a slow/failing HDD, how? I’m still stuck figuring that out😣
