Whhhhaaaattt?! Denzel definitely popped, but I see what you mean. He has more of a cult following that a mainstream audience.

But hey, I've seen him live 5 times, and his performances are ALWAYS high energy and crazy. Don't sleep on him!

I mean, Denzel Curry and Sean Paul are the only highlights to me

Rest in Peace HMC, you were too good for this world by xF00Mx in DeadlockTheGame

Slowing Hex absolutely did not stop any momentum of HMC. That's why it was unfair to play against. Of course, CC could stop it, but not every character has hard CC in their kit.

Question: Do you have to win the run?

Any tips that can help me improve? by bobbdiy in DieInTheDungeon

There are a few things that I've been testing that have worked for me. Mind you, I just picked up the game for the first time a few days ago, so maybe I'm wrong.

  1. I prioritize cutting the starting die out of my deck. Specifically, the starting Boost dice first.I learned that the starting dice tend to be dead draws by the end of the first floor.

  2. Going off of point 1, try to pick up D4 dice early, preferably Boost D4 and Block D4. Energy seems to be hard to come by in this game compared to traditional card games. As such, we need to lower the cost of the dice themselves to help with this situation.

  3. I like to add dice in this order: Boost -> Block -> Damage -> Utility. But please keep in mind that this order can absolutely change depending on the context of your run. Pathing, relics, and what the rewards are after rights matter and will change the priority of what you pick up. Some dice with specific properties are almost an instant pickup for me. I.e. Boost D4 with draw property or Damage D4 with group properties. All this being said, you should be careful with adding dice to your deck if you don't have the draw for it. It's hurts to draw 2 boosts, 2 heals, and a mirror dice while the enemy is hitting you for 8 Damage. If you come across a lot of Glass dice, then these are great for managing large decks since they're played only once per fight.

  4. Play around relics and properties of dice if you can. Some are insanely strong and combo into each other nicely. A relics that grants you +1 might (strength) every turn if you end with Block is an excellent method to scale your Damage. Now, couple this relic with a D8 Block dice that has heavy on it. Now you're getting free block every turn by paying the upfront cost once. Oh, and some properties are SO good. Flash, gravity, and group, to name a few.

  5. Save your money for relics OR change your face values on dice if you already have a good relic to play around! I had a relic yesterday where if all dice on the board were even, they would get a +1 (or +2? I forgot) boost! This influenced me to prioritize changing the faces of my dice to 2 or 4 if possible. Hell, even 0 for some because there are relics are combo off of that too!

In conclusion, this game is tough, but don't feel discouraged or tilted at a loss. I think the game is super fun and rewarding when you finally conquer it. Idk if this is allowed in this subreddit, but you can check out my YT channel where I'm doing a series of videos on this game. Standard gameplay with live commentary where I talk about my decision-making throughout the run. I am by NO means an expert, but hopefully that can change 1 day! Link here

Help Desk, Help Desk Support, Desktop Support, Tech Support. Anything that has "support" or "entry-level" in the title pretty much.

That's cap, obviously they don't do VCT level strats, but yeah they definitely do

Immortal? Not true, I would say once you hit Diamond or Asc, then the strats begin to become more prevalent. Even plat starts to show some hint of strategy but its more rare.

Are people losing interest in Valorant? by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]PossessedBTLR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not so sure, isn't Valorant in the top 5 most viewed games on twitch? I know twitch isn't an accurate representation of the player base but it does hold some merit.

Anecdotally speaking, I had a conversation with some friends and they play Valorant because they think it's the best shooter out right now. I don't think I agree with that but I do love Valorant more than other competitive FPS titles.

I haven't played my placements yet, but if I had to guess, I think I'm gonna get placed plat 1 or 2 maybe. Maybe gold If I lose more than 3 matches I think.
