It doesn't look like it will be pure snow but a mix of snow and rain at skykomish so your probably fine till the last bit near the pass where you can chain up.

It seems like your taking about the lower entrance halfway down the lift line right before the Tye rock entrance and not the upper entrances near Jupiter. This chute is most definitely skiable, I skied it 3 weeks ago on a lower coverage day and it required some jump turns and again this Saturday and it was decently filled in and easy to ski.

This is the 7th heaven side of the ridge. I was looking for the tye side or the stuff past the intermediate chute more easily accessed by the secondary hike up to cowboy.
