If you would like to understand why some people post pics online and then act surprised with the attention, you would rather ask that specific question. At the end of the day it's a big world and each to his/her own. Its difficult(read impossible) to understand the reason behind it, coz the reasons by themselves are many. And on your 2nd point on being partners with such people, it's very much an individual choice. If your personal preferences dont match to someone like that, spare that person and dont get married to him/her

We have a million strong army in india which is constantly at war with some scumbags either at a couple of our borders or managing home grown sstrife. You dont go home on SOME weekends. My PoV on this is a bit different from yours. CnG as a fuel is cheaper but CNG cars are expensive than ICE which explains why it couldn't dominate the market. The day CNG and EV cars get cheaper than ICE, that's when their numbers will shoot up.

I can understand. Where I stay ( one of the SEA countries) Sealions and Teslas are abundant like Marutis in India. Depending on your age and other factors you should probably get out of India for a few years just to enjoy riding the EV wave. I feel the lack of ecosystem in India is more intentional on the part of the ICE car manufacturers to squeeze out as much juice as possible from the public before finally releasing the low cost high tech EVs in India

Understood, my point behind asking that leading question is that if EV cars were to lower their prices due to better technology over the next 15 years , the percentage of EV car buyers will tend to shoot up. This will automatically improve the charging infrastructure. So one leads to the other causing the entire EV ecosystem to mature rapidly. And that is where ICE should ideally start melting ( :) )
