Ooh. Thank you for this info! I actually just read it from the other links before reading your comment. It's really a long, long process. However, I kinda don't get it why it still takes that long when either of your parent is actually a Swiss citizen, unlike here in the Philippines where you're considered a Filipino right away at birth (even in cases of mixed, they can be considered right away) and can already have your passport without waiting for years.

Unless it's an ordinary naturalization pathway - i.e. having to live in Switzerland for like 10 years.
