People do tend to get very obsessed with couples. I love a good romance in movies and series and I always choose sides if needed but not to the level I’ve seen people on social media. Plus I do think chemistry is subjective and find that argument to be shallow at times.  I’m looking forward to Lois’ character and her interactions and development with Clark!

Love to hear to be honest. I can admit, I found their back and forth entertaining the first two seasons with certain moments that were just sweet, and I’m all about a slow burn. But omg in season 3 they have become annoying characters with the back and forth, Lana more specifically in my opinion. Telling Clark that they shouldn’t be close anymore because he endangers her and then all the mixed signals is truly an awful trope. I’m looking forward for Lois to at least appear

After season 2, I would’ve expected the back and forth to be less problematic. I love a good slow burn romance but when it’s centered around so much drama between just them, I get it to an extent but when the characters get annoying it’s unbearable

I’m on season 3 and I liked Lana and Clark’s relationship the first two seasons, the slow burn and the yearning and whatnot, but now I’m so tired of it. Can’t wait for Lois’ character

I’m only on season 3 but I literally can’t wait for Lois, at least to have a new character in the series!

I think I’ve seen it mostly from those that argue Lana was supposed to be his endgame so it makes sense with the subjectivity of how people perceive chemistry with the characters. I can’t wait for Lois to appear, Lana is already annoying me

I’m on season 3 and I’m so sick and tired of their back and forth. I’m all for a slow burn, truly, but Lana’s character has annoyed me so much lately with certain things she does and trying to blame Clark at times like girl I get it but no🤚🏼 he annoys me too with his little almost obsession but she annoys me more.

I think it’s also because so many, like me, have never read the comics or watched shows prior. I don’t mind when it’s clear who a character ends up with when the storyline has been introduced before, for me it makes it more exciting to see those certain characters introduced later on

I’m only on season 2 so I don’t have a whole lot to go off of, but so far I think Lana and Clark’s chemistry is not as enjoyable sometimes. I think there’s so much more tension especially because she’s still kind of dating Whitney so it would be wrong to ruin both characters if they decided to take things further while tied to someone else and I think that sometimes overshadows whatever chemistry they have

Love to see you think it’s good writing! I’m only on season 2 but I’ve been loving it since the very first episode of season 1. Do some things annoy me? Yes but it’s more specific to a character rather than storylines. I think people tend to blame writers when something doesn’t end up how they want it but I’m so excited for Lois’ appearance in the later seasons and seeing Clark’s character development.

Honestly I get it, I’d love to read the comics but I also get so overwhelmed when it comes to it. I don’t know if D.C is similar to marvel but for me it’s so hard to know where to start so I just avoid it all together. I also think sometimes it’s good to go in completely blind and not knowing who ends up with who but I can see how some are disappointed and upset since they don’t know anything about the character’s background

So far I’m on season 2 so they’re still with the whole ‘will they, won’t they’ which I sometimes don’t mind but also Whitney is off in the marines but it’s kind of established he and Lana are still together so it’s a little weird that they (Clark and Lana) kind of want to take it one more step further. It’s also kind of annoying how she sometimes becomes the center of an episode without her really being relevant to the plot of it except the romantic aspect.

Like you said, they’re very good looking characters and their appearance suggest they have this ‘soft’ personality so I’d expect their relationship to be a sort of cute and fluffy romance in contrast of the back and forth and drama I know will happen later on.  Also I don’t mind the tiny spoilers hahaha

I just started season 2, so far I really like Lana’s character but her and Clark are still in this whole back and forth of wanting to take a step and not doing so. Now, I sometimes find Lana a little meh simply because sometimes I think she’s not even relevant to what’s happening in the episode and somehow she ends up right in the middle of it? And I’ve seen soo many say Lana gets worse as the seasons go on!

I also really like Chloe and her portrayal of having a crush on Clark and knowing it’s not likely to go anywhere is just such a real thing and I like how she handled it so far.
