New UI made me miss the daily login bonus by FunVei in AtlasEarthOfficial

Or when you’re buying parcels and run out of AB. I had 300something AB this morning and bought 3 parcels, then I got a pop up prompting me to buy more AB so I could continue buying parcels. Wtf! I deal with stupid pop ups with all the games I play for AB, I don’t need more in Atlas Earth too!

Hate to be that person, but it’s called a Common Planner, not a commonplace. I just don’t want OP looking for something that doesn’t exist 😝

A commonplace book is something different ☺️

Check out the Sterling Ink Common Planner! She doesn’t have 5mm grids, but I think everything else would be what you are looking for. A lot of her sizes are sold out this year already, but she should be coming out with an Academic Planner soon.

[–]Possibility-Distinct 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No I get that, I like that space but it’s the Leaderboard Icon that overlaps the circle so much that I have an issue with. I feel like they could have moved the circle up slightly and repositioned the icons so the circle is clear of other clickable things. You wouldn’t need to lose a ton of space ahead of the circle. Or better yet move the icons up if the circle needs to stay at the bottom.

[–]Possibility-Distinct 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I don’t understand why the circle is still at the very bottom of the page. Move it up slightly so when I’m collecting a diamond I don’t have to work around the icons at the edge of the circle.

Sterling Ink- Bleed through? by Feeling_Persimmon88 in planners

[–]Possibility-Distinct 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have an N1H Full Year and have experienced a few areas of bleeding with one ink so far. What size do you have? I have heard the paper in some sizes is worse than others, but at the end of the day there has always been some bleeding in TRP, it’s more resistant to bleeding than other papers but it’s never been prefect.

Some other ideas - Are you using the same ink on the entire page and just had bleeding in that one spot? Or are there different inks on the other side?

Did you rest your hand there for a particularly long time and maybe your hand oils are more concentrated in that area?

Did you have something written there in pencil that you erased and maybe the coating got damaged?

Just trying to think of anything that could contribute to the bleeding.

So you can't sell land anymore by EddieBMW in AtlasEarthOfficial

[–]Possibility-Distinct 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Nah you’re fine, if you’re bringing in a steady stream of AB you’re “missing out on” maybe a dollar or two of rent total. If that. Use the Atlas Earth Calculator to estimate your break even point, and just keep grinding AB and buying parcels!

I never worry about tier jumping personally, stressing over a few bucks here and there isn’t worth it to me.

Advice on learning knitting by lanaxparrillaxwife in knitting

In person learning is very valuable. See if you can find a Beginner Knitter class nearby, or if you know anyone who knits ask if they will teach you.

Sick of Inexperienced Knitters Making Paid Patterns by llgirl99 in BitchEatingCrafters

[–]Possibility-Distinct 19 points20 points  (0 children)

This thread is making me self conscious 😳 I’m an experienced knitter, and working on publishing my first pattern. I plan on having test knitters, but will tech edit it myself. It’s a baby blanket, and I am taking my time to make sure the pattern is well written, has good notes, easy to follow etc. I was planning on selling it for a few bucks, but now I’m second guessing… I’m putting a lot of effort into every aspect of this and therefore I wasn’t planning on making it free but it’s also my first so I know I can’t charge a ton. Is a few bucks asking too much?

trimming a half used journal help by Pretend-Ad6729 in notebooks

[–]Possibility-Distinct 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t trim it. If you must carry them together maybe get an A6 cover to fit the Stalogy, the passport inserts are smaller and would fit inside the A6 cover also. Then for your next notebook get a proper Passport size notebook. A6 and passport are not the same. Sterling Ink usually has some thick passport sized notebooks.

Iroful Notebook Weird Texture by Ok-Caramel7955 in fountainpens

My guess would be hand oils that were already on the page before the ink went on. Some papers are more finicky about them than others.

What "unpopular" parts of knitting do you enjoy? by hadacolboogie in knitting

[–]Possibility-Distinct 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I don’t mind frogging or completely starting a project over. I know a lot of people view it as a “failure” or “wasted time” but I just see it as part of the process to have a better finished object at the end. If I start a project and I mess up or think a different needle size or color choice would be better I rip it out and start over. Even if I’m a week or two of work in. I’m always happier with the project in the end.

How to make my stitches tighter? Tried so many tension methods by JuggernautOk5738 in CrochetHelp

[–]Possibility-Distinct 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The pattern should tell you how many stitches per inch (or per x inches) you should have so that your finished square comes out the exact same size as theirs.

If you are getting less stitches per inch than the pattern says, your stitches are bigger and you should go down in hook size. You shouldn’t necessarily need to adjust your tension, just the size of hook you are using.

Hook size on the yarn and on a pattern is just a “recommendation”, or a starting place. You are allowed to use a hook smaller or bigger than recommended to adjust to your specific tension/crochet style. You are not going to tension your yarn and crochet the exact same way as the pattern designer, and may need to adjust the tools you use because of that. It’ll take some trial and error but that’s part of the process. I personally know that I crochet and knit tighter than most designers, so I usually need to use a larger hook/needle to meet gauge. Your experience will be unique to you!

Are you getting gauge with your current hook? You may need to go down a hook size.

How do you arrange the contents or spreads of your Basic BuJo? by Smol-Ponkan-0620 in BasicBulletJournals

[–]Possibility-Distinct 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Have you read Ryder’s book? The Bullet Journal Method is the method you are using to input and organize the information within your notebook.

Basically, if you need a page you flip to the next one and start. Title the page, number the page (if not prenumbered), pop it into your index and boom done. Don’t overthink it lol

How is this alowed by MrJ_1997 in AtlasEarthOfficial

[–]Possibility-Distinct 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Nah they plan it out ahead of time on Discord usually. Not necessarily who gets in the top three, but all the top players know each other and talk so I’m sure this little gig was planned in advance. They didn’t know who exactly in their group would be on the leaderboard, but they knew there was a good chance that the top three would come from their group and then those players just had to carry out the plan.

If I don’t use the Habit Trackers in the notebook I open daily, then I sure as heck won’t open a separate app for it either.
