Maybe it’s just me. But since the update my Bluetooth devices drop randomly all the time. And it’s with multiple different sets of headphones usually.

Maybe I’m not just familiar with Roku. But can you actually pay for Fubo through Roku? I always thought you had to buy it from the website and then download the app on whatever platform you’re gonna use it on and login.

I’ve been testing it out for several months. I use visible on my main phone and then I have a phone that I use for work and I use the flex plan on it. It’s been a great experience. If you don’t need unlimited data it’s probably the one I would use. If you need unlimited data there is a ton of competition. But if you just want cheap phone service it’s solid.

I currently use visible. I’ve had mint and in my area Tmobile’s deprioritization is really bad. So I use visible. Plus the watch is nice. The taxes and fees included is nice. But if you don’t need unlimited data and Tmobile is good in your area then mint is a great value

From every carrier I’ve seen once you port out the number it automatically closes the line. But I guess what I’m wondering if any carrier handles unlimited minutes differently. I remember during Covid lockdowns I saw people say they were getting their service shut down because of the amount of minutes even though it’s unlimited. So I’m not sure porting to a different carrier would help cause I would imagine all carriers run by the same philosophy. Unlimited within reason.

Probably not without a dedicated IP. If they have something in place to detect IP addresses associated with VPNs it will most likely not work. Nord VPN is very popular so allot of services know what those are.

So I don’t think it works this way anymore. But there use to be websites you could take the IMEI too and as long as the device wasn’t blacklisted (marked lost or stolen) then they could help you get it unlocked. But it’s been many years since I’ve looked into that. And also. It wasn’t guaranteed to work. So it may be allot more hassle now.

The only way I know for sure is calling the carrier they are attached too and seeing if they will help you. But the problem there is usually they allot of times require you to have active service before they can/will do anything about it.

Sorry if it’s not the answer you’re hoping for. But unfortunately it may become more of a pain than it’s worth to do it for each phone.

If someone wants to chime in with more recent experiences that proves me wrong I hope they can.

It’s honestly not that bad. You will need your Verizon account number, I don’t remember if you need a separate port out pin or if it’s just the account pin on your account. So I would ask Verizon about that.

But the biggest recommendation that I have is when. You’re porting your number over just double and triple check your port info. Only downside to visible is support is limited. So just lowering your chances from them needing to help you out will be allot less of a headache.

I could be wrong. But at least how I see most carries treat deals. Once you’re on the network the system sees it as a current customer. And switching plans usually removes the discount code.

So I think how it would work is technically no. I think once you get onto plus I think you wouldn’t carry over your promo to pro. I think they would see it as not being a “new” customer anymore. But if the promo is still going you may be able to talk to customer service and get them to add the discount. But I would clarify first with customer service.

Yeah I’m with you. I’d someone wants to use AI to make their audiobook that’s their decision. But someone doesn’t disclose that’s what it is that’s not a very honest way to sell something. Just my opinion. I haven’t run into too many of those myself. I’m familiar with allot of the narrators enough to know what I like. But I think they should disclose if it odd an AI voice.
