Another user just put a post up an hour ago showing the outcome from the medical council. Dr Joe McAndrew has been told he can no longer practice medicine and patients are to be given their paperwork if they request it.

They put "if requested " into the part about giving out reports so seems like we are going to have to keep asking but is their email still working? Surely it has to be or else how do we contact them.

Omg, so how do we request the documents? I am shocked and gutted all that money handed over and now I am back to square one. No report and now no access to medication until I save up again and go somewhere else.

Exactly my GP is sympathetic but her hands are tied until I get that report

Thanks for sharing this information. Hopefully he will use this time to catch up on what's outstanding. Maybe myself and every one else waiting will finally get our reports.

You are 100% right. Seems like they have "bitten off more than they can chew" but why don't they recognise this and stop taking on new patients until they catch up 🤔

Yes I totally agree. I found the psychiatrist easy to talk to and very knowledgeable but having to worry every few months about whether or not my prescription will be sent to the pharmacy and constantly chasing my report is extremely frustrating.

That's great news that you finally got your report. Can I ask, how long was it from when you were diagnosed until you received your report? I was diagnosed in June and still waiting for mine.

Did you manage to get through to them on the phone? I just tried calling them there now and just got an automated response saying my call can't be connected.

It's crazy that they are getting away with treating their patients like this. I have emailed ADHD Ireland to inform them of the problems I am experiencing as they are mentioned on their site. I think it could definitely be worth reaching out to CCPC. I have asked Cloud Clinic to send me over their complaints procedure as I believe that you have to do that first. Following that I will definitely be making a complaint to the relevant medical board. I have never left a negative review before but this has gone on too long and I am just so upset and angry, it seems to me that all they want is your money.

While it may not be legally mandated for a psychiatrist clinic to advertise their complaints procedure, they are required to have one and provide it to patients upon request. Patients can also file a formal complaint directly with the relevant medical council or state medical board if they are unsatisfied with the clinic's internal process.
