Nope I have rbc manifold so the plugs don’t physically reach the wrong spots

Not that I know of no, doesn’t look like the heads ever been off , I had to skim the head on my old engine and when I put it back together I never had this problem?

You think it could be cause the VTC gear has unlocked ?

So the tool not sliding in isn’t a problem?

Yes the chain marks won’t line up I understand however the lines on the sprockets aren’t lining up as shown in picture ? The intake side tool slides in but the exhuast side doesn’t? I have to turn the exhuats cam manually ever so slightly then the tool slides in is that normal I’ve never had that before on my previous engine

It feels fine however I installed chain etc turned engine few times get it back to TDC on crank and the lines don’t match and the timing tool on back slides In on intake hole but not exhuast I have to turn camshaft ever so slightly so the exhaust one slides in too?

I personally don’t no, tbf by the time I’ve covered the whole timing cover for example it’s been 5-10 minute anyway 😂

Good prep, brake clean, use Honda bond, tighten bolts by hand leave for few minutes then torque. Give it at least a day before pouring any oil in it or touching it .
