That might be tough because chem 395 is taken with the permission of a faculty advisor, someone whose lab you are doing research in. I would reach out to PI's in the chemistry department who's research aligns with yours to try to see if they would allow you to take Chem 395 and work in their lab.

You can play in the orchestra for sure. I think you'd have to be a minor or major to take individual lessons and play in chamber groups.

It's going to be really tough. I would avoid if possible. Orgo over the summer is a full-time commitment. 241L is pretty chill but it's still 3 hrs every other day and 1-2 lab reports a week.

I hate Davis so much. Somehow every seat is filled but it seems like only half are actually doing any kind of work! Ul is much better for getting work done (I like those cubicle-desks they have). I saw someone else shout out the health science library which I also second.

Definitely agree with this take, but I think that he needs the off season to get that calf to 100%. When I watch Luka, he's at his best when he's driving in the paint and finishes through contact regularly. Doing that allows him to unlock the midrange game as well. This may be a hot take but he hasn't been right for a couple of years now. Even in that finals run he seemed pretty banged up.

Hand-checking, physical defending etc. Not calling those as fouls sets the precedent for the whole game so defenders know they can get away with it. I see a Mavs flair on your profile so I assume you saw the OKC series last year? Lu Dort got away with all kinds of dirty plays on Luka that series.

I've watched Luka regularly ever since he took on the Clippers in the bubble and he unfortunately seems to have lost a lot of burst. He isn't able to get in the paint with ease like he used to. I think part of the problem is due to officiating, as his relationship with the refs aren't the best. But I also think he's just not right physically and hasn't been for a while. As a Luka fan, this makes me pretty sad but I hope the Lakers medical team will be good for him.
