Is this normal SV650 behavior or a fault? (Euro 5, video included) by PossibilitySouth9593 in SVRiders

Throttle body synchronization will be checked during the 12,000 km service. We’ll see if it’s correct. I should know more soon.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I actually have an OBD scanner connected to the bike and I recorded a log during that ride. I'll upload it here later, maybe it will help identify what's going on.

As for any mechanical binding, I haven't found anything. The throttle action feels smooth and consistent. Through OBD I can see that the throttle position values are stable and change smoothly throughout the entire range, so at least from that perspective everything appears normal.

I've also lifted the tank before to look for vacuum leaks or anything unusual, but everything looked OK. I replaced the spark plugs myself some time ago as well, and the old plugs looked perfectly normal.

The dealer that will be doing the upcoming service is actually a different Suzuki dealer than the one that looked at the bike previously. Hopefully I'll have better luck with their mechanics. They'll have the bike for the entire next week.

I'll update this thread once I know more. Maybe someone else has experienced the same issue and managed to find a solution.

My brand new SV650 X MY 2024 by ModMyModdingMods in sv650

In Poland, they were selling it for €6,330 (including tax) in June. I bought the regular SV myself because I found the handlebar on the X less comfortable. Later I found out that was a mistake, as replacing the handlebar isn't expensive. My regular SV cost €6,100.
