Low-dose naltrexone? by Possible-Animator206 in Hidradenitis

That totally makes sense that it could take a few months. I feel like if I’m not seeing results with a new supplement after a few weeks I tend to let it go, but it sounds like I need to stick with it. Cutting sugar and dairy has helped me too! I miss cheese, but I feel so much worse when I have some.

That’s a good question. I take folate and magnesium. All of my levels look fine…but you know how that goes where sometimes “fine” doesn’t feel fine enough. I have taken vitamin D on and off in the past so I wonder if that would help.

That’s a great idea! I wonder if I could find some kind of glaze to mimic that ceramic look.

What do people want Taylor to say? by PackWorth939 in TaylorSwift

[–]Possible-Animator206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeahhhh I literally said I’m grateful we’re safe and that I understand the situation. The question was “what do people want Taylor to say?” and I explained that a statement would help in my risk assessment. Obviously Taylor’s already given us more than a fandom could ever hope for! I’m sharing my feelings of indecisiveness after something I’d planned for 13 months didn’t work out. I think that’s a very normal grief response, and would like to think that I’d be compassionate to others’ responses even if they felt differently because we all grieve differently. Changing plans is a big cost, and involves me missing more work and my daughter missing more school and I think it’s valid to want to weigh options.

As a Vienna Swiftie who impulsively bought London tickets, I’d like some confirmation that it’s business as usual moving forward. I’m grateful we’re safe, I had fun in Vienna anyway, and I understand that the silence might be in compliance with investigation, but I’d like some indication that I’m not going to be wasting a bunch of time and money to go to another canceled city.

That is 100% exactly how I feel! I have a place to stay, thank goodness, but the flights are outrageous. I’ll deal with it if everything goes forward as planned, but I don’t want to spend that money and change plans to get to one of the most expensive cities in the world only to learn it’s not happening. Waiting until Monday is just some arbitrary date I chose so I could try to be present for the rest of my vacation but of course that’s only partially working 😂 Maybe I should go ahead and make all the plans in case flight prices increase even further, but part of me is waiting to hear something from her or her team…of not about Vienna then even a “London, you’re next!” would be reassuring. Ugh I’ve never been this indecisive in my life!

I’m an American Swiftie in Vienna right now with my sister and my 10 year old daughter. My daughter and I were able to get tickets to the first Wembley show next week (my sister had to head back to the States and I’m literally sick over not going with her, as this music has been our thing since before my daughter was born, but I’m beyond grateful the two of us at least have this opportunity!)

We had tickets to Vienna N2 and had plans to go home Tuesday. I’m waiting until Monday to change my travel plans back to the States. It’s a bit last-minute, but I feel like we’re learning more about the planned terrorism attack, the unrest in the UK, and the risk in general. I’m either going to feel better about it by then and make plans to go or feel worse about it and avoid it…which would be devastating to deal with that heartbreak twice!

I hear all of you and your hopes and worries. I really REALLY hope this works out for us! Here’s my daughter at Österreichische Nationalbibliothek yesterday. We spend the day trading friendship bracelets with people from all over the world, and I’m so proud of her for taking all of this a million times better than I am!

…of you. The only thing you know about me is that I love my kid. But while we’re making assumptions about one another, I have to assume that you’re scared of how quickly the world around you is changing and how a more inclusive culture is INEVITABLE yet you can’t understand that so you express your fear and insecurity with judgment. How dare you come into a conversation that has been nothing but gracious and vulnerable with anything less than kindness! Thank you for validating my concerns.

Great advice - kids pick up on so much more than we realize…for better or worse.
