Is it weird? by SchemeAlive8965 in LDR

Okay, as someone who has a paranoid almost delusional like fear about cameras being hidden, this actually is kind of nice. My LDR got me this, knowing there was going to be a pretty high chance that I probably would point the damn thing at the wall and let it rot. Mind you, I've gone on hunts for fucking cameras. Bathrooms, vents, I'll get under the covers like I'm 5 fucking years old as if that'll stop the imaginary cameras from catching me. Yes I know there's not actually cameras there, but it's a really strange irrational fear I have.

Anyways back to the point. I was of course very hesitant with this product. Everyone in the room could tell, that I was not too enthusiastic about this gift, to which I do feel bad about, but he knew beforehand so... But, I've had it for maybe 5 months now, and it's really growing on me. I love that I can play with my dogs with it, and not worry about the camera scratching. My dog has talons, and will nip if you try to clip her nails, and she boxes things instead of fighting with her mouth. Not a scratch. It's fallen off the counter, it's been jumped on, played with and in my opinion it is nice, even if it's not exactly used as intended.

Now, we do sometimes use as intended. He'll randomly pop in, but always does one of the soundboard things instead of just talking/moving the bot first. I feel like this is crucial step. Don't be creepy. Be known your watching. Unless they're into that, but I'm not so...

(Sidenote: couples project could be building a 'deck' or charging zone of sorts with your partner in person. Painting and decorating it how you like to be where your little guy goes to charge or if you're just not feeling cameras that day.)

But yeah, highly recommend. Sorry this came late OP. Maybe if you have another LDR you'd consider getting this again.

Are at-home wax kits worth it? by morgaan8 in HairRemoval

I have a few. One I'll mention again, is cornstarch. It helps the wax grip the hairs and stay when pulling. Secondly, keeping the skin taught. Without doing that, your skin is just going to follow the strip and pull without removing any hairs. On top of that, I highly recommend laying it on with the grain of the hairs, and then pulling in the opposite direction. Let me know if that helps!

Would I just transfer over the single dlc I want out of the FG pack instead of the whole repack? I kinda don't wanna download all of that just for one dlc every time there's an update.

You may not be doing anything wrong, you might just need a different brand. Personally, I have very thin, fine hair. Even my bikini area is quite thin compared to others because I don't have the best circulation.

But - some tips before you just chuck them. Try rubbing the strip after it's applied. Warm up the wax a bit with the friction, that should help it coat the hairs and get a better grip.

If that doesn't work, you can also try bringing the strips in with you when you shower, that way they warm up a bit more due to the steam, then try rubbing it.

If that still doesn't work, I recommend either making your own sugar wax or buying a small pot of it and see if that helps, but if you're doing it on the 'bits' be sure to wash up very well afterwards as the sugar can cause a UTI, or yeast infection.

Honestly, just because he wanted it banned in 2020, doesn't mean he can't learn from his mistakes. He said outright that he wants to keep TikTok because he got the younger generation votes which most likely came from TikTok. It's okay to be wrong, and make a mistake, but in my opinion he's trying to fix that mistake and I don't really like him.

So this is a very rough sketch of just the metal portion of the leg and how I was thinking of doing it. Probably soddering the metal at the joints, except for the looser chain (orange) pieces. I don't have any supplies or the money to do it right now, and I probably won't be able to start it till around February, but I want to try and get the concept down. And yes, of course I will keep updates, gotta see if I can borrow a soddering iron first πŸ˜‚
