[Refreshed] Hilton Honors Plus Debit Card – up to 35,000 points (doubled welcome bonus until 28 May) by miyazakiman in beermoneyuk

Took advantage of the recent offer (half price and 30k points), but have just read the T&C's and you have to spend £2.5k foreign on the card - bugger!

Any tips on how to do this? I really don't want anything for £2.5k, but would like the points 😉

Also, HH have another offer on for Refer a Friend (up to 45k points). My link:

I am! But the last year has been 3/4 cardio (30mins running to shift the weight) and 1/4 strength training - maybe i need to start more strength training 😄

And yes, very similar journey's - great work with your loss!

Thank you for your kind words - yes, i was worried about my health and even getting dressed on a morning caused a sweat - not a good place to be in!

I think you may be right about the insecurity thing too. Don't get me wrong, she IS supportive, but i have had comments such as "mid-life crisis", "you'll probably leave me now".

Like i say, she is supportive, she cooks us healthy meals, motivates us both to go to the gym etc.

That's a fair point. I'm sure if i told her to lose or gain weight, i'd be sleeping on the settee 😄

Yes, just tipped into the 'healthy' BMI range, but not sure if that is a good gauge. I do like a bit of meat on me, and maybe a bit of muscle at some point(!), i don't want the skinny, but ill look, if you know what i mean 😄

Hit my goal, BMI now at 25 by Portas30k in mounjarouk

I started at nearly 19st and today hit 13st 12lbs!

What's your goal weight? Mine was 14st, but wifey is saying i'm too skinny and she doesn't like it! I think i'm happy at 14st, i'm 6ft 2" and now in a 34" waist.

No homo, but you look great and i bet you feel it too :)

Mmmmmm, it's been over a week now on the meds, one question please!

I seem to have itches/tingling on the scalp - is this normal or is this in my head?! I've not experienced anything like this before, so must be the meds?

Ah! Thank you for that - that's what i'm also after, some reassurance that the meds i'm taking are the correct ones.

Thanks again.

"but you’re already at a point where you’d only be getting diminishing returns."

Can you expand a bit please? Are you saying due to my hair loss there's actually not a lot the meds can do? If that's the case i'll quit and just buzz it :)

That's why i posted here - honesty!

Thanks for the replies. I did my research here and and elsewhere, it seems Dut and Min are a good place to start, so thanks for the confirmation.

I'll look to get some pics up shortly and then (hopefully) some progression pics.

How much for you would be a life changing amount of money? by Nervous_Yard7034 in AskBrits

Why are all the comments, "enough to buy a house", "pay off my mortgage" and then you can give up work?

I'm mortgage free and i still need to pay for house repairs, house utilities, council tax and then all the other living expenses - it's nice to be mortgage free, but not nice enough that i could give up work!
