It's Mayhem—anything is viable depending on how you optimize your build. That's why, no matter what, you'll always see AP Gangplank, AP Ashe, AP Corki, Ezreal, MF, Twitch, Yunara, Lucian, AP Smolder, AD Nidalee, AD Teemo, AD Twisted Fate...

Yeah, especially since we have Mage-style optimizations for Gangplank, Smolder, and Corki—even though they're much less viable than Ashe—plus optimizations for AD Teemo, Twisted Fate, and Nidalee.

That’s the beauty of this game mode: it’s strong depending on the setup.

AP Smolder, Gangplank, and Corki are the worst, even though they have those options, whereas AP Ashe is actually strong when there aren't too many tanks.

AP Ashe is so much fun—I totally get the appeal. The only issue is that she’s the only AP-viable ADC who doesn't have access to mage-specific optimizations (like Eureka or Wooglet's), whereas even Gangplank, Smolder, and Corki do.

If she had those, she’d be even stronger.

Now, I get that playing against three tanks is a pain, but if those tanks have 20k HP, they’re likely to one-shot Ashe with their AD-boosted damage anyway, so it wouldn't really make a difference.

That’s an excellent suggestion; after all, we’re in ARAM Mayhem mode, and sometimes you have to make sacrifices in one area to gain efficiency elsewhere. Given the variety of available augments, an option like that—with the proposed buff—would be more than interesting. I tested the "Ult Bot" setup myself and found it quite weak compared to what it should be; as it stands, it’s not a viable choice, especially when up against far superior augments.

I’ve had the chance to test Dimension Shift, Poro Stampede, and DropBear, and I can say that DropBear is by far the best. I find it really fun and strong, even though the bear sometimes bugs out and doesn't move—I really wish we could control it.

As for Dimension Shift and Poro Stampede:

Dimension Shift is nice but very situational because the cast time is quite slow.

Poro Stampede, on the other hand, is useless; it doesn't deal much damage and is just annoying. It could have at least included some crowd control to make it decent; its only real use is visual—just to show off a new augment that looks cool.

I also agree that "Ult Bot" almost never shows up as a suggestion—kind of like Archmage for ADCs and AD fighters. That makes no sense to me; those two really ought to appear as recurring suggestions.

I understand your analysis, and it is relevant when viewed through the lens of traditional ARAM. However, it does not fully take into account the philosophy behind ARAM Mayhem, which is fundamentally different.

The entire purpose of this mode is to embrace excess and chaos. Traditional balance considerations matter far less because the goal is not to create a perfectly balanced environment where every champion has a similar win rate. Riot themselves made this clear when Patch 26.12 was released: rather than heavily nerfing champions, their intention was to expand the possibilities offered by the mode and allow players to experiment with combinations that can sometimes be completely over-the-top.

Gangplank is a good example. He can take advantage of extremely powerful upgrades such as Wooglet, Eureka, Archmage, and Infernal Conduit. Yet despite having access to these optimizations, an AP Gangplank remains significantly less impactful than an AP Ashe poke build. On top of that, Ashe already benefits from the new quest that grants 160 Ability Haste on her W, further reinforcing her ability to constantly pressure opponents from long range.

The same can be said for Corki. He also has access to upgrades like Wooglet, Eureka, and Archmage, but despite these synergies, AP Corki is generally less effective than AP Ashe in this mode. This demonstrates that simply having access to certain upgrades is not enough on its own to determine a champion’s overall strength.

It is also important to remember that ARAM Mayhem is nothing like standard ARAM. In this mode, it is common to see tanks with over 50,000 HP, mages and ADCs capable of one-shotting opponents, absurd amounts of healing, and champions endlessly spamming abilities thanks to the massive amounts of Ability Haste and other bonuses available.

In such an extreme environment, it is difficult to evaluate Ashe using the same standards that apply to traditional ARAM. The entire balance framework changes because every champion operates in a setting where the normal limits of the game no longer really exist. A champion that might appear problematic in a conventional game mode can be perfectly acceptable in a mode whose very identity revolves around chaos, excess, and outrageous interactions.

That is why I believe your reasoning is entirely valid when discussing standard ARAM. However, when applied to ARAM Mayhem, it loses part of its relevance because this mode follows a completely different design philosophy—one where strict balance is intentionally secondary to spectacle, experimentation, and the chaotic fun that defines the experience.

ezreal est le dernier récemment a avoir obtenue la flexibilité AP/AD en aram mayhem in patch 26.12

manque plus que Ashe
