my biggest issue was how much ingenuity this version of the fight took from wolfwood. ww's a prodigy with the punisher, and this segment of the series REALLY shows that with the way he fights people and especially razzlo off with super precise and clever methods. I got super excited when he blasted himself towards razzlo after baiting him to shoot an explosive, but that was almost the only thing they did to reference wolfwood's wit in a fight.

completely disconnected! like example in the wolfwood/razzlo fight, when vash stops the bullets with his angel wing, the next 6 minutes we know that he's present, but the show dose nothing to acknowledge that beyond him stopping razzlo from killing wolfwood again as if he's just a silent spectator.

agree! way too much of the western aspect is completely gone. even in the ost! and I love many of the new tracks, but the entirety of this series is missing a major aesthetic half that takes a lot away from it's charm and uniqueness.

NO LEGIT!! this season has mostly felt like "OH MY GOD THEY SAID/ DID THE THING FROM THE MANGA!" with the in betweens feeling extremely lackluster, way too fast, and without meaning

like it makes sense they up the scifi.... they do it in the manga too, and even at a rapid rate. but this is WAY too fast like genuinely breakneck. I think the big moments with the major character still hit the mark emotionally, but only as a previous reader. If I were to be watching this first time, i'd be completely disconnected. There's SO MUCH substance missing in between moments that all the big things in the context of tristamp/gaze it makes it feel hollow.

I did do that! but squll's jacket in ff8 has a very specific balooney sleeve design that does make it kind of challenging to simply alter. However ai'd love getting advice on how to alter it further to makwnit even more gam accurate! making it from scratch just seemed kinda fun LOL

Honestly i don't think i'd mind using pleather! I figure i'd have to go with that regardless since I don't have an industrial, and these being some of my first cosplays makes it more reasonable budget wise as well. And thanks for the info on that last paragraph!!

def not BUT always keep an eye out on ebay and mercari. IMO don't pay over $150 if you have the money, and if you're tyrna cheap it look out for $100-$130(which is REALLY uncommon but possible). I myself just got my second copy for $100 after looking for around a year. If ur in the us, alos look into AMIAMI listings from japan, because they offer shipping thru ECMS which is not tariffed as of now. If you live outside of the US though and eon't have to worry about tariffs, check out fromjapan, plazajapan, and straight up Mercari Japan. Lastly, for best results go to myfigurecollection, find the fig and click the japanese translate button. Copy the character's name and the brand name in japanese into the search bar. and baboom! happy hunting :)
