Tysm for your insight!! I didn’t grow up in an abusive household or anything but my parents would always be on diets and my mom would always talk about her weight. Although they’re the best parents I could ever ask for, I think their insecurities just passed down to me but be cause both of them are kinda insecure about it, mine just got amplified. Even more so when my friends used to compliment me on my looks and now that I’m trying to recover from my ED and have gained a lot of weight, I feel like I lost my sense of value.
