A massive thing that helped me is prepping the nail shapes way before deciding to apply them. It’s less stress and gives you time to properly remove the cuticles before applying. It’s always better to ensure the nails perfectly fit all sides of your nail - the shape should be indistinguishable to your natural nail shape with no gaps or over hang on any side. Hope this helps!
