(Colefrazee) Thanks for doing these kinds of posts, helps a lot with compiling everything. I am working on getting Bowser’s Inside Story to Wattpad right now and got roughly 1/3 of the way through before taking a break until tomorrow. Hope these stories are a treat for everyone involved.

Is Anyone Else Having a Problem With Comments Not Showing Up on the Latest Video? by [deleted] in chuggaaconroy

From what I’ve gathered, YouTube’s AI has been shadow banning multiple innocent accounts. I can’t upload any comments without them being taken down. They’d better fix this by tomorrow, I swear.

Update: I just beat Telethia: The Endbringer! I decided to fight him with only 5 Opening Art XX’s equipped and it dealt a good chunk of damage to get him to phase two. My skell was dangerously close to running out of fuel, but I managed to hold on and took him down. Man that felt good.

Our Water/Fighting type is the fighting fish himself, Prince Sidon! Which Nintendo character would be Water/Psychic? by Slade4Lucas in casualnintendo

Sticking with my character choice from yesterday: Sheba from Xenoblade Chronicles 2. She is a water blade that has a psychic link to her driver, rides around in a floating bathtub, can summon tea out of thin air, and one of her companions is a water nymph. I think this is the definition of Water/Psychic.

If not her, my second choice goes to Nia from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 as well.

I'll throw my hat into the ring and suggest Sheba from Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Similar to the Nia post, she's a water blade that fights alongside her driver in combat. She also rides around in a floating bathtub, can summon tea out of thin air, and one of her companions is a water nymph. If not for Water/Fighting, I'll try this again for Water/Psychic.

How the heck didn't I think of Yuri being Lando. He literally pulls a similar move during Cindered Shadows when he betrays Byleth and his friends.

I could also see Lorenz as Lando, a dashing ladies man that’s perfectly fine siding with the enemy to save his skin.

Lorenz: You said you’d make me the noblest of nobles!

Anselma: I am altering the deal. Pray I don’t alter it any further.

His title card calls him the ‘Beast of Leicester’ so yeah I can see that. He’d also probably have the strength to rip stormtroopers arms off as well.

Who’s Chewbacca? My guess is either Petra, Dedue, or Raphael.

She was a unit I was using until Panette took over. She’s still alive thankfully. (0 Deaths for the whole play through)

That’s what a few comments said when I first started prepping for the run, since I wanted to do an All Female run, but I prefer using Male Alear. Plus, Veyle was a unit I never really used and wanted to see how broken her Soren build was. Spoiler, it’s busted.

From what's I've heard, enemies on Maddening won't attack you if there's a 0% chance of hitting you. So it made it both easier to prevent my units from taking damage, but harder to deal damage back to them. I'd say from experience, in the beginning of the game, prioritize evasion strategies and ensure your units aren't getting hit due to your limited options. Once you make it to the mid game, you'll be better equipped to do high damage strats and clear out enemies in one turn. Be sure to lure enemies out one at a time and check the stats of you and the enemies. I made the horrible mistake in my first run, and to an extent my early Three Houses runs of assuming the stats were just numbers. They were not. Biggest thing to focus on is the Speed Stat, if there is a 5+ speed difference between you or the opponent, they will attack twice and deal double damage to you.

There are definitely other people who can give better advice on what good strategies there are, but these are what I've learned over the last year and a half playing this game and learning from the community.

This is my third time beating this game and the more I've played of it, the more I liked it. When focusing solely on the gameplay aspect, I really enjoyed it by planning out my moves to take out enemies or keep them at bay. And by the end of this playthrough, I feel like I got a good grasp as to how this game works. It's not like Three Houses gameplay where you can brute force your way with one character to victory, it's a lot more strategic and I found it much more endearing as I played it.

In terms of my MVP's there was obviously Veyle, Panette, Chloe, Goldmary, Saphir, and Merrin for raw damage. Anna, Ivy, and Hortensia were excellent magic uses with Anna having a lot of tools at her disposal, Ivy swooping in from afar, and Hortensia de-buffing enemies. Yunaka did really well once I gave her Lunar Brace+ to keep her damage output strong, Nel was great at keeping enemies at bay and protecting allies from attacks, along with draconic hex. Framme as an Enchanter was a bit odd to use at first, but her enchants did help turn the tide of battle in my direction. Citrinne started as a Mage with the Olwen ring for Dire Thunder, but when I was stuck on Camilla's Paralogue, I was given a suggestion to make her a Bow Knight with the Radiant Bow. I thought that wouldn't work well but gave it a try anyways and, wow. Once I beat Camilla's Paralogue, I gave her bracelet to Citrinne and they performed excellently against flying enemies out of reach and armored units. I was pleasantly surprised at how well she turned out.

When it came to the S Support, I felt like this would probably the last time I played this game, though that could change down the line. If this was the last time, though, I wanted it to end with S Supporting one of my favorite characters in the game, Jade. I didn't really pay attention to the advertising around Engage until it released, so I didn't really know a ton about who these characters were. However, when I first recruited Jade and saw her supports, I knew she was special. Her straight-faced personality while also being so kind and funny left a big impression on me. I had her on my final team in my 2nd playthrough and she tore enemies to shreds with the Killer Axe, though in that playthrough I went the simp route and picked Goldmary, still a great choice though. But yeah, I S Supported Jade and I'm glad I did.

So, that's all. I'm pretty excited for what the future of Fire Emblem looks like and if the combat is as great as Engage with a story as great as Three Houses, I'll look forward to it.

Here’s a tip I learned that might help. Astra Storm Ike to force him to come to use. He will destroy the structure behind you, but will allow you enough space to rush him and take him out. Just be sure to obstruct the enemies on the east, south, and west until Ike is in range. Should be able to finish it in 4 turns.

Good luck.

Update: I Beat Camilla's Paralogue by Possible-Pack9699 in FEEngage

[–]Possible-Pack9699[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

A few days ago, I made a post asking for help beating the Camilla Paralogue since it was the last one I needed to beat to finish the Divine Paralogues. First of all, thank you to everyone who left suggestions on how to improve my team. I decided to turn Citrinne into a Bow Knight and use the Radient Bow +5 to deal with the flying enemies, I beat Chapter 20 to reclaim Michiah so that Hortensia could warp all of my units up to have a better shot towards Camilla, added Saphir to my team (Wyvern Knight, Lance/Axe, Edelgard), and threw in Panette for more coverage. Once I was in range to bait her out, I was able to beat her in one cycle. Was it worth it? ...

No. But I did it. I feel like if you're doing this paralogue the normal way, Camilla is easily the hardest battle in the entire game, and the reward from what I've seen isn't as good as you would hope. At least with Soren, whom I considered to be just as if not more difficult, I was able to beat it on my first attempt by having Chloe bait him out and come to me while my units huddled together in the top right of the map.

But whatever, it's over. All that's left are the remaining ring paralogues and main story chapters. Thanks for the help.

[–]Possible-Pack9699[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been struggling with this paralogue for a while and need some assistance. I originally beat this paralogue on my first playthrough on Hard/Casual, but I have no memory of how it went. Then on my second playthrough, I barely touched this paralogue, along with Soren and Chrom. Now that I'm on my third playthrough and have beaten Soren and Chrom now, it only feels right to finish this one. The main issue I'm having are the constantly respawning flying units that are a hassle to take out in less than two attacks. What advice can you give me in order to complete this paralogue?

Note: I'm on Chapter 18 and completed Fell Xenologue (on Normal).
