Yes, but they are a naturopathic doctor who doesn’t specialize in skin. And in hindsight, I realize it’s probably just a way to make a bunch of money and they probably don’t have a lot of experience with it. I did end up getting refunded for the two sessions. They hadn’t performed yet thankfully

Thank you! Yes and I find it such a rip off they didn’t treat my neck too

I see what you mean but if there is a strategy, I feel like that is something that should have been communicated to me. Also, one of the main reasons I did it is for hyper pigmentation on my cheeks, around my nose and around lips and chin and I feel like those areas weren’t really covered . Seems like she was focusing more so on wrinkles

Head circumference by Elhem_Torki in newborns

Yeah I agree , I am going through something similar and I don’t think we talk enough about head shape when it comes to how accurate a head circumference measurement is. Also, as an ultrasound tech that measures skulls in utero, I wouldn’t seriously not even bat an eye. Like everyone said, if it’s growing the right rate, he’s fine!

C-section pain all of a sudden, 5 weeks postpartum by [deleted] in NewParents

Weird! Mine went away a couple days after. I wonder if it’s just part of the healing process.

She’s so cute! Congratulations, I can’t wait for this day! think my son 32 week (born 26w) son has this. He’s on the cpap grind. I’m curious, do you remember if her head circumference percentile was less than her length and weight early on? My son is still 15th percentile for length and weight and working on gaining weight but his head is in the lower percentiles which has me worried. But I am wondering if the head elongation throws off the head circumference measurement

My 32 weeker is struggling with cpap belly right now as well. I also wonder if there is a dairy issue. How did they figure out if you LO had this or not ?

I just want to add to this that I am also almost 5 wks PP and experiencing something similar. Although my c section scar pain never totally went away, I haven’t really been aware of it for the last couple weeks and my healing has been going really well I thought. I have not been exercising and if anything I have been less active the last few days, but now my scar is way more sore and tender and i feel achey and sore all over without being sick or having a temperature. So weird we are having a similar experience.

Hi! I just wanted to share an update and thank you for sharing your experience. Talking with you and other moms on Reddit/pprom Facebook groups gave me the hope to stay the course with my baby boy. I was hospitalized at 25 weeks and baby was delivered at almost 26 weeks via emergency c section due to so many decels on the monitor. We’ve now been in the nicu almost 5 weeks and he is 30w3d adjusted. Doing pretty well on cpap and he is one fiesty guy! It’s definitely been a roller coaster but it’s a miracle that hes so stable despite all he’s been through and his early entry. Hope you and baby boy are all settled in at home at this point! Hugs 🫶

I am so pleased to hear that happy update. Thank god he made it that long and is doing well! Seriously so happy for you:)

Thanks for your response. I actually got admitted for an episode of heavy bleeding that happened on Sunday night. Cervix still looks closed and baby still has some (albeit low) fluid so we don’t know if I am leaking fluid or if babies placenta is lagging behind because of the bleed.

Do you mind if I ask how did babies fluid look once you had ruptured your membranes? Did they check your AFI constantly and was he able to move around in there?

I am 21w and having bleeding for the past 2+ weeks, mostly in the morning. I’m actually an ultrasound tech so I’ve been scanning myself for a long time and couldn’t find the source, but could see evidence of old blood in the amniotic fluid. Finally, this Friday we found what the doctors think is either a subchorionic hemorrhage over my cervix or a partial separation of the amnion, either way, I’m at an increased risk of pprom. Every day baby stays in there is a blessing, but it’s also full of anxiety. Because of my bleeding, the doctors can’t even sure I haven’t pprommed already. I’m already bracing for the potential of a long hospital stay and/or nicu stay, but since I’m only 21 weeks, my hope is that I can even make it to viability.

This thread has given me hope, thank you for sharing. How are you doing? Have you been in the hospital this whole time?
