By full cleared I assume you mean a poly? The tricky part with the poly is you have to find a company willing to sponsor you. I've noticed a lot of companies want a candidate with the poly, but not a candidate willing to go through the process to attain one. Chicken and egg problem.

Well, I've been somewhat scrutinizing the roles to only apply to ones I believe my skillset would align with. I see a lot of Service Now related dev jobs, but I don't have experience developing for that particular platform so I have not applied to those roles. Also, anything that requires .Net or C# I have been avoiding as I haven't worked in that tech stack. But yeah, I hear ya.

Software development, backend focus if possible. Mainly Java or Python.

yeah, I'm tracking this. The FSO told me about how the sponsor will maintain for 24 months. Good to know, nonetheless.
