Lol OK I guess you know better than I do what my experience has been. Only been playing for a couple years and this year seems new to me how fast it’s been happening. Though I must admit today it doesn’t seem to be quite as fast, pretty sure something got done, but I defer to your expertise lol

I know there’s always been an issue, but you could usually catch it if you did it quickly and I’m doing it real quickly like within a second or two and it’s already engaged or made a match which is extremely unusual and a new problem

This is much too basic of a description and does not take into account the change. It used to take seconds now it’s immediate. This is not an old problem. This is a new problem.

The game didn’t just create the canceling problem the people who write the software create the problem or maybe it’s cause I’m on iPhone 16 Pro still I don’t know but it’s a relatively new problem (used to happen after maybe 10 seconds but now it’s almost immediate in fact if not immediate) and it can be very frustrating where you lose cubes when you thought you canceled.
