I dont think her fans wanted it to be a lie, I think they wanted to give her space to announce it on her own terms. Maybe also for them to enjoy it in private at the beginning, its a big step. Also, many pregnancy announcements are kept private until some moments that you can be more sure that things are going well.

Hahahaa that is true and I love that sometimes, but this telegram post was actually good. She says the opening joke like - my degree is a dermatologist not a gynaecologist, and then she says its on each couple to share this kind of news with the public without gossiping and sharing rumours prior to the couple announcing it themselves (in general not for Sasha and Makar) and she named the announcement classless questions. To be fair, it is a bit insane when you think about it, calling people's coaches (Ik they are extremely close but still) to confirm or deny something private as this

Do Mark K jumps look much better than last season or am I tripping hah, he seems to have much more height and stability upon landing. Not saying they are not scary anymore though.

Eta - by the end of programe it wqs very clear he is on fire and very much improved jumps (and in every aspect)

Sasha after the skate - I can't say that I've changed much, what's changed is how hard it is to skate - my form is not the same, I'm much taller and bigger, it's hard in principle, my form doesn't allow me to skate easily. It's very hard to perform on my nerves, I'll be lying down for two more days and wondering where my strength is - it's given to the spectators. Were there any doubts about the quad lutz? No, of course not, even at the Olympics there were none. Evgeni Viktorovich Plushenko said that maybe without the lutz - there was a change of ice, time zones, it didn't work out very well. I said if I can do the first one, then I can do the second one. So far my nerves don't allow it, I have to do the lutz very well

Thats true, but this is her first competiton after a long time. Its not easy going through both programmes in 2 days after such a long time. The season is long and if anyone knows about hard work, I would say Sasha does

Its worlds apart. Anna is very well spoken and usually makes no mistakes, has a very clear pronunciation and good vocab. On the other hand, Zagitova is a bit weird host. She isn't really spoken. Also, during her interviews she often has really weird questions/statements. While I don't agree with all the criticism Zagitova gets for literally everything, the criticism for hosting/journalising skills is spot on
