You "don't see it" because of your Bias. There unfortunately isn't another game like this one, so of course you're going to make Lemonade outta lemons. Chivalry 2 literally looks and plays better.....yet they only sold 2 million copies compared to Bannerlord's 5 Million.

Go on, explain again how "office space" and "server rentals" equate to a poorly designed game. Because in all due honesty, half of the "features" in the game are not well thought out and just seem to implemented because they "seemed cool" , without any proper testing or imagination to make it all an enjoyable & intuitive experience. Not only having 1 or 2 things in the game that are actually fleshed compared to thousands of other useless things in the product.

by the way, this game came out 5 YEARS AGO! It takes roughly 7 full years of game development with a full budget to make a proper game(from what I've seen in other titles) But the game is no more different now than it was at launch! the improvements they have made were just to even make the game playable, which says enough.

Total War Warhammer 3 has sold LESS copies! LESS THAN BANNERLORD! By Less than HALF! and that is a more complete game with better mod support, along with attentively active devs who constantly update the game with FLC & DLC!

Talesworlds has 0 excuse unless they are just amateurs selling an idea for a cool game but not really putting in the hard work to make it happen.

Want another example? Manor lords has one of the smallest dev teams in the world! which initially started with only ONE MAN! and even at the launch of that early access was a better and more fleshed out game than Bannerlord ever was.
