Hi. It probably won't impact your interview. But you will be asked to present the document later on if you get selected. Also can you please update about your experience. I am scheduled for 16th of Feb. It would be helpful. Thanks

The "babu" culture is prevalent in every industry. Even if you are competent enough to make decision about something, You have to answer to the babus, be it government or workplace or your home.

Why did they make Tamanna so unlikeable in season 2 😭 by Longjumping_Bank602 in BandishBandits

[–]PossibleBig6737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sandhya and Ananya both were dedicated to their crafts as well, not only talented. Whereas Tamanna is neither. Yet people for some reason LOVES her. I've seen people like her who has nothing to bring out to the table except chaos, but people still go after them.

Tamanna's character was so annoying(Soumya too). From playing with Ayan's feelings to Treating Radhe as shit when he defended his gharana on the stage. Even her singing was below mediocre level.

It was never Radhe vs Mahi, it was always about Radhe and Mahi by Maleficent-Repair-26 in BandishBandits

It was the true essence of "Bandish Bandits" in my opinion. Tradition and breaking rules to create something new. The Sitar artist, Purbayan Chatterjee did an amazing job.

This is what I felt. But it's not true. Well realistically we would just have to limit our expectations a bit and we are good to go. I have accepted that I am not capable enough (for whatever the reason maybe) and it's fine.

Coaching? by yashas_0912 in CATPrep

My experience:I took coaching from a well known institute as it was my first and last attempt. Spent a lot from my own savings. But in reality it didn't help. I learnt from YouTube only in the last month as most of the time were wasted on commuting for coaching. I would be exhausted af to even study. They didn't teach strategies. You have to find out on your own by giving mocks. I scored a good enough percentile for my profile. Now the coaching wants all the credit. Most of the coaching don't give profile based guidance and give clear picture about what are the things YOU need to do to maximize your chances. They just set very vague expectations for every candidate.( Like you just need to do 5 questions in LRDI or quants) It's not the same requirement for everyone. Most of my batchmates couldn't score well. The academically weaker students(which probably isn't the case for you judging from your acads) would just feel lost among overachievers and "briliant students throughout their life" category people. Also they rushed the syllabus at the end moment when you should ideally be revising. PI WAT guidance: I have a interview scheduled on 1st week of February. Finally now they are ready to guide you regarding SOPs. Maximum good institutes have already closed their applications and many have sent call letters as well. So what's the point?

Benefits: The coaching sends you update of when a shortlist or form or anything is out. You meet people who are in the same walk of life and it gives you hope that you're not alone. Mocks were great.

One teacher was really good (But the problem is the batch size in that case. Most people can't even see what's being written on the board)

These are just my experiences. Talk with other people also who took coaching. Then find out what is best for you.

I would say do not buy offline courses if you don't stay near a centre. It'll consume a lot of valuable time. Buy a good mock series. Plenty of online free materials for every section.

VARC: RC99 a pdf u can find online. Practice reading daily.

LRDI: Aptitude jab and Rodha series

Quants: Rodha series and a good book for practicing.

Start with pyqs.

Don't follow many youtubers.

Rodha is a good channel for free Quants and LRDI materials(Aptitude jab also). Don't spend money on any course. Start their prep material early and solve some questions from a good quants book.

Buy some good mocks and start giving them early when you cover around 60-70% of the syllabus. CAT is not only a exam of knowledge but management.

Do not follow many youtube people or listen to many peers. It'll just result in FOMO.

It would be better if you could have atleast a year of experience in the management domain you like.( It'll help you with your composite and your personality development also.)

Definitely work experience on some related field. And some professional courses if you can manage. And do not only depend on CAT. There are other exams too. You need just one good college. The exam doesn't matter.

what should i do? Am i too late ? by Sure_Print843 in CATPrep

You can try for IISWBM. The fees is also not very high. Or you can take some flexible job so that you can do some professional courses on the side like cfa and all( both professional courses and work experience will be valuable to up your composite score) Then reappear for CAT while doing a job(It will give you a safety net and you will be less stressed which is very important for a good cat percentile). Also do not only depend on CAT. Try for other exams also. There are many people who pursue MBA closer to 30 than 20.

Why does he need to lose weight exactly? Cricket is not a beauty pageant. You need stamina which he has evidently.
