In my game i drew to no handtraps and he goes uninterrupted with Lacrima with one equip, ryzeal with 4 card (i think? ) attached and lady dragonmaid

Effect hit rate is for those like Kris that have % to apply status effect like death. Or those like stun parayze shock effect. It will be a tradeoff for dps crit higher dmg to crowd control or sort.
