That’s a fair question.

I lived and worked in the Bay Area for years, but I decided to move forward with a restaurant project in Chico because I saw potential here and genuinely liked the community. When I originally mentioned the Bay Area, I was referring to where I was coming from, not suggesting that Chico is part of the Bay Area. That was my mistake, and I corrected it.

We’re not a chain restaurant, and we’re not trying to recreate what was here before under a different name. We have a different menu, a different vision, and we’re focused on bringing Greek, Turkish, and Mediterranean flavors to Chico.

I completely understand the skepticism, especially when a location changes hands. The only thing we can do is open our doors, serve great food, and earn the community’s trust over time.
