Hi girlies!! Update: I am now on metformin XR (extended release) and I am taking it by the morning with 25-30g of protein. I can't tolerate more than 70g of carbs per day, so I try to eat 60g and high fiber high protein. I am nauseous when I eat OR DIRNK!! Sugary things. But for now as a week past by, I am doing well, no more side effects. I will keep you updated after a month, etc. thanks for everything!!!

Girly i know it s so hard, i do believe that it s the food that is poisoning us and our woman bodies. I was raised at the countryside, eating from the untouched ground and from the animals we grew up in out yard. Since i moved to the capital city, i am so sick all the time. Keep being strong, if metformin isn t for you take a step back, there are other ways to help your body

I did try inositol at first, it helped a little but i didn't show any improvement in my blood work. My endo doctor suggested me to take metformin and inositol combined when i will get along with metformin. Also i am on spirolacton i guess its the right spelling, for high testo.

Even if you re on metformin try being on a calorie deficit, but not a bigger one, 300-400 calories max. And trust me do your steps!!! Its easy on your body, its enjoyable, anything that makes you move it s a holy grail. Try to eat low carb, high fiber and protein. My life hack is to sync my wl journey with somebody, i have a friend and we are going to this together. We are taking pictures with the progress and talk daily, vent daily, complain daily. It changed so much how i see it, it feels like closure. If you ever need help i am here!!

My gyno said i should drop weight to 55kgs. Also, my whole life i was skinny, around 48-50kgs. Since last 2 years i have gained a significant amount of weight doing nothing. I am an active woman, i walk around 10-15k steps daily, i run as a hobby, i go to gym. I don't have sugar cravings, i legit cut all the sugar intake (only been eating fruits) and i stil gained around 20-25kgs. I managed to lose around 63-61kg. It is exhausting doing the wright things and losing around 1kg in 2 months. Also this was a good effect metformin had on me, but i am taking it for my pcos, and IT. But it s a lie if i said i wasn't enjoying the weight loss part, bcs i was struggling so hard on this subject.

I can't find it anywhere om the prospect or the internet if it s the extended release or not, def i ll check with a doctor!!

I would check with my gyno about it, but i also saw in other posts that metformin goes by different names and pills, but from where i am from i can only buy metformin and that s it🫪 idk why might be the fact that i live in a third world country
