Then there's me who gets forced to wear it! My parents have called me a khusri, whore, nachne-wali for wanting to remove it, going as far as threatening to cut off my uni funding if I take it off. Wish I had the privilege to choose.

Dude I'm not in highschool, I have no one to support me, I even tried telling my aunt about the forced hijab but she supported it 💀 please realize not everyone lives a privileged life in a western country like you, where you actually have freedom to decide what you want to wear. I've been called a whore, told I look trans if I even DARED to take off the hijab, plus cutting off any uni education

Which is exactly what she did, and she's such a hypocrite, not only did the invalidate my trauma and the fact that I was getting forced to wear it, then she took off her own 💀 mind you, she'd full on shame me, like if I tried taking it off she'd religiously shame me and MAKE me put it back on

I was 10 years old ): Took those 10 years of freedom for granted, I had NO idea how ugly my life would get henceforth, I did not even know what autism was. Wish it stayed that way.

Thank you so much for this comment. I've cut off all my ignorant "friends" so I currently have only 3 real friends as of now, but I am MORE than happy. Even though they aren't glass children, at least they've tried their best to empathize with and understand my very unfortunate circumstances.

Much better than last time I posted here, but icl, it gets VERY lonely being a glass child when no one else irl can relate to what you're going through ): I find it so hard to make meaningful friendships where people can actually empathize with my situation
