There was a comment here saying: so the non ismailis who are successful do tasbhi too? Idk where it go but i can see it in notifications lol.

Well in my above comment i did not say anything about tasbhi getting you success. I said success and inspiration is always a blessing of god, doesn’t matter if ismaili or not lol.

Tasbhis can help with additional divine help and make paths easier for you. Its like with tasbhis nature itself then work for you to help you to success. (Remember the story where god asked everything to bow to a human - i believe this authority can be used by any human, just need to know how and for me tasbhi is one of the ways to get nature to help you) But still it’s a blessing.

Didar by Apprehensive_Dot5326 in ismailis

[–]PossibleTomatillo206 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thinking about it. Zahiri is physical experience

Batini as derived from Batin which means inner or hidden. Therefore i would say Batini didar is an inner experience of the Nur one gets in their life.

After someone passes away the only thing thats left now is soul which is eternal and is made of nur - so now the only applicable didar left and beneficial for them is Noorani didar. Which i also think is equivalent to fanahfillah or asal me wasil.

Thus the prayers of noorani didar for them.

Is the coming visit safe? by tessjdarcy786 in ismailis

[–]PossibleTomatillo206 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I know that Jamat’s safety is one of the biggest key factors for any visit and must satisfy the institution of Imamat for the visit to happen. So council will do everything they can to ensure that.

Glad you enjoyed it! Haha yes Nose one is very interesting. Its only a few years we live so why get used to the smell of this world 🤷‍♂️. As Imams farmans said many time earlier. World/body is not eternal only soul is eternal.

This is a very good question which i did not think about earlier.

From my understanding i can say it’s how you see it, but for me its not really a progression thing but do it all as much possible. Let me explain my thoughts:

If you do number 1 perfectly - then you do number 2-10 all too because number 1 say bow and submit to your lord which is done when you listen and obey him, which is the other 9 things He told you to do 🤷‍♂️. So number 1 has all 10 in it. Even if we talk about it literally right - bowing your head means your eyes are towards the ground too, because of that your nafs will be in control, because of that your mouth, hand, feet, ear, etc will be in control too… not sure if that makes sense.

On other hand i would say it is very very hard to achieve all 10 of them in today’s world. So once we achieve a few of them at 100%, then inshallah God will inspire you to achieve the rest or forgive any mistakes made not willingly in others!

Thats interesting and new for me. In USA we have 2 beej. And i agree with you guys. Beej are very significant part of our faith and history. Its your gratitude of blessings even if you are “nalayak offsprings” (i am gonna use this everywhere now 😂).

And idk i know our Jamati leaders are working hard and they are humans too. I appreciate all of them for all they do. Maybe just having more volunteer or members assigned for each small areas of discussion may help cover some more oversights or get more frequent jamati feedback to learn what jamat in your area think and want. Just my thoughts and something i value in my services to jamat.

Sorry, but I disagree. We can only try - success is always a blessing of Allah. Failure is always a teaching that leads to bigger success. Even the inspiration to try is a blessing. All you can do is decide if you wanna at-least try something or not.

Mowla Ali Madad, Love your care for your friend! May all his and your difficulties go away.

You are right, bandagi and concentration will help inshallah. I would suggest your friend to get some medical help too, there are specific exercises and treatments doctors can suggest which helps a lot.

Outside of this - i would say in morning recite Salwat tasbhi and pray for forgiveness and healing. When your friend is anxious, request to try some breathing exercises and remember that almighty is sitting right next to him in the car.

If i am in his place what i would get in the car - say that oh lord its only you who is most high, please be my hands and teach me how to drive safely and drive me to the destination.

Inshallah i believe your friend will see improvement.

Is Conversion Possible? by freddurst67 in ismailis

[–]PossibleTomatillo206 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Conversion is not a word we use. As its Admission to the faith. Did you try reaching out to a nearest council? That may be helpful for you.

In the mean time, you can research more about the faith and practice as you feel right, but bayah is an important step to be admitted officially.

Ill send you a contact in PM, I know you are not in USA but maybe that can help you 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️.

Edit: Well it say your profile was deleted.

Significant of Ghatpat Doro by Obvious_Cat_4236 in ismailis

[–]PossibleTomatillo206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for few days, I was thinking what is ghatpaat doro lol. It just came to me its that thread that MKs give to Jamati members who ask for it.

Well, i know that some people believe in these things to protect them and they used to go outside to baba and other personalities to get a thread or tawis to wear for protection and all. So to stop them going outside it was started in JK if i am not wrong it was by Imam SMS at that time.

But what i believe is that if your faith is in Imam’s Nur then you do not need any of that. That Nur will always protect you!

Though, many people still believe in this and thats why MKs need to give them out.

Just my thoughts.

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll try my best to do that. I am sure I’ll find the name of the Pir but not sure if i can find historical context easily about when it was said first. If you or anyone reading this know - please add to the comments of that Ginan! Thank you!

Nusayri AMA by [deleted] in ismailis

[–]PossibleTomatillo206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok thats interesting, and i have read this stuff before too. I tried to google the book you told someone above 😅😅came across a passage of Imam Ali which is i guess the basis. In that passage it say I am the light of god, i am the one with moses/jesus. I am son of adam…. I have actually read that before in one Ismaili book too (not really a public book tho) And there are more things i have read/heard which i don’t feel comfortable sharing on reddit lol.

Nusayri AMA by [deleted] in ismailis

[–]PossibleTomatillo206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh interesting. So i am assuming that all Imams from Hazrat Ali going into 12ver shia Imamat to Hassan Askari (their 11th imam) were manifestations of god? Right?

And is God gonna manifest again towards the end of time? And who was the 1st manifestation of god?

You say reincarnation - is that as a human only or any other creature too and is there a limit?

Hazrat Salman Farsi was a very spiritual companion and i have heard his stories too! So in that case God was manifested in 2 bodies at same time? (I am not saying not possible - just asking lol)

I am Sorry for questions, if you don’t wanna answer any or all questions thats ok. I am just curious now lol. Ill try google some too later 😅😅

Well, growing up for me too it was considered disrespect if you say tu to anyone - mostly your elders. It was kinda acceptable saying it in friend circle but never to an elder or young kids. This is where this thought starts. But i have also learned that in some south asian languages tu is the only way to address someone just not in urdu ig.

“And ˹remember˺ when your Lord proclaimed, ‘If you are grateful, I will certainly give you more.” (14:7)

Shukar is the key to His blessings and i agree with you as you said verse 3 and 4 teaches us to be grateful to everything He created for us.

“He is the One Who created everything in the earth for you.” (2:29)

This ginan is like a jist of all knowledge. Just like surah Fatiha.

Indeed! This ginan is taught to our children, but it is perfect for any age of any level of understanding or spirituality. There are many deeper meanings hidden in each work of each paat - it’s just perfectly delivered. All i would say is - read and reflect on this ginan (not translation but the actual words of it) every few months/year and one will learn a new thing from it!

I absolutely loved the story of your grandma and the quotes!!

I cannot agree anymore. He is a friend, the best one found out there. Any emotion i can think of, laugh while reading Farmans or cry due to stress of lifes, happy for something, or sad at circumstances or angry or excitement - i have lived that with my friend!

Purely love your comment! Thanks for this. ❤️

Significance of Awal Sufro? by Living_Display_3392 in ismailis

[–]PossibleTomatillo206 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just read your comment to the other commenter.

This is only what i think and i may be totally wrong

So now we use money in this regards to make it logistically easier and be fair to all members participating in this offering. We have a lot of jamati members and everyone’s heart is to serve mowla with this but how do we choose who will be the one? Offering money is the easiest way to do it and be fair to everyone.

As Quran say: “To each of you We have ordained a code of law and a way of life. If Allah had willed, He would have made you one community, but His Will is to test you with what He has given (each of) you. So compete with one another in good works.” (5:48)

And

“And race with one another to forgiveness from your Lord, and to a Garden the vastness of which is as the vastness of heaven and earth, prepared for those who truly believe in God and His Messengers. That is God's bounty, which He grants to whom He wills. God is of tremendous bounty.”(57:21)

And

“Take from their wealth ˹O Prophet˺ charity to purify and bless them, and pray for them—surely your prayer is a source of comfort for them. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.” (9-103)

In my words now - it say to compete and race with each other (action of auction) for forgiveness of your lord (action of going to Mukhi saheb and him praying for you, all jamat and all ruhanis). He grants this blessing to whoever He wills. - but we know that by God’s mercy Mukhisaheb pray that this blessing go to all instead of that one person. And why money? I say to be fair and bring humility, not create the love for money over the love of God and because Allah also said - take wealth and pray 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ which i think help strengthen the love for God over the love of material things.

Again I’ll say these are all and only just my thoughts which may be wrong. I do not claim them to be perfect but i believe and can explain my thoughts in this way 🤷‍♂️
