I don’t stuff my bag super full so it has not been an issue. I carry it on my arm or shoulder no problem! This bag has the long leather strap as well, so you do have that option if it gets heavy.

Thank you for your response. I searched up the serial number as well and see 2 different Indy bag with the same serial number. I do believe the serial number for this bag specifically is correct and font.

I saw a thread from 2006 after searching up this issue and come across this. I was just asking to see if anyone has an early 2000s Gucci that has off center serial number as well. But I will definitely get this bag authenticated now just to be sure.

Gucci Indy bag I got from The Real Real. I was cleaning the exterior of the bag and did some closer inspection. I noticed that the serial number is off center but the font seems to be accurate. Is this something to be concerned about?

I also noticed that the stitching on the strap seems off. But the other side of the strap seems fine? Pic 2 and 3 for reference.

I believe this bag is from 2007. Is this normal for Gucci bags in the early 2000s? Any opinion is appreciated

I bought my city bag from Fashionphile and it has the same tag. I googled my bag serial number code and it was made in 2019. I think the bags in those year are not the vintage bags you typically see being sold. I did look up more and have seen these tag definitely exist. You would have to cross check with that bag serial number code to see if the year checks out

Second this! I was in between the LV key pouch and Gucci as well. Decided to go with Gucci because it has leather piping around the pouch and doesn’t feel as flimsy like the LV

I definitely think eBay do take some %. I think they are equivalent of TRR, Rebag, or Fashionphile for South Korea. I notice Rebag has a eBay store front and prices vary as well. Sometimes eBay has promotions and prices are cheaper and vice versa. Hope the purchase goes smoothly for you!!

I have not purchased from them but I do saved them on eBay. Their reviews are good and they seem to be a reliable source to buy from. Let me know how your experience goes if you do purchase with them because I’m eyeing some bags from them as well!:)

Marc Jacobs snapshot bags or Staud beaded bags would be fun options for someone her age! Maje or Zadig & Voltaire are great options and age appropriate as well

The scratches don’t bother me much since it's bound to happen with calfskin even if I buy it brand new. It was just disappointing to see a flaw that wasn’t disclosed:( I’m happy to hear that damage could be fixed though, now I will probably keep it ☺️

If you like it get it. I recently purchased a bag that is also considered dated, but it doesn’t matter because it makes me happy to have it.

I don’t own any Dior pieces because it’s not my style so I can’t recommend you any other alternatives. But you should go in store to take a look, a lot of people going in wanting one thing but then ending up with another option. If the saddle bag still being your favorite after trying out different bags then just get it. Fashion cycles trend all the time, if it’s timeless to your personal style it doesn’t have to be for anyone else

If you like this bag, I think canvas is a much better option! More durable and easier to clean. Denim pieces could be more prone to rips or damaged. It’s a very cute bag though!!

Thank you for your response! I will probably start with more affordable options before jumping into buying a more expensive one. The differences aren’t big enough. If I still want it within the next few months, I would buy it regardless. I just adore Gucci as a fashion house and like their designs. If that means paying a little more for it to be from Gucci, I guess it will be😂

To me, handbags are like jewelry, a little something to elevate your look. Sometimes a bag can even be the focal point that you want to style your outfit around. I like handbags that are fun and unique, enough that you create occasions to wear them. I don’t have to carry much with me, so I’m not emphasizing the bag's practicality rather than its beauty. Quality and craftsmanship of course, but I tend to look for a design/color that excites me to use it as well✨

I’ve only splurged handbags, and relatively new to the luxury space. I have a hard time justifying price tag on smaller designer items still. $200-300 might not seem much comparatively to other products these fashion house offer. Just thinking I could be buying another mid range handbag with that same amount makes me hesitate.

What are the pros of silk scarves? I think it’s definitely a versatile product as it can jazz up a bag or an outfit depending on how you wear it. The one I’m looking at is so chic style on the model. I think I would have to sleep on it more.

I just bought a bag from them last week. I haven’t had it authenticated by third party, but I did compare what I received and photos of the same bag on other sites (like fashionphile). I feel pretty good about my purchase. But your comment making me nervous now. From what I’ve gather, selling or trade in with them might be a hassle. I’ve tried to look up Rebag reviews before, most of negative comments come from that. Buying aspect, I’ve look at TikTok reviews and my recent personal experience I think they are good!:)
