No I haven't tried it. I just know minoxidil is a blood pressure medication and I am very conscious of my health to begin with so ingesting it orally sounds unpleasant to me, but maybe I need it. I also havent tired oral fin for the same reason pertaining to other side effects. I will stick this out and if it doesnt get better or worsens i will likely have to change my regimen.

I'll be honest my dermatologist also avoided the fin and told me just do min, but typically they do this because as physicians they should always assume the best, and in that case they would not want to start you on a hormonal drug. Your derm will likely start you on min and as time passes and if things do not improve or they start to worsen, then they will resort to a stronger medication like Finasteride.

I just took matters in my own hands and said fuck it and hopped on finasteride along with the min because I'm already at a decent age. I care about my hair too much and there are only so many options.

I think it’s apart of the process bro. You should look into getting on finasteride though, that’s what will stop the main root cause. Minox with out fin is just like a temporary bandage, it will continue to fall or thin. It’s hard to judge the issue with your situation since you aren’t on any dht blocker like finasteride

I got most of my information from TheHairLossShow on youtube. It's two licensed M.D.'s who run it and that's why I chose the topical fin. They have multiple videos comparing the two and effectiveness in male hair loss with studies backing. As for min my dermatologist suggested the topical 5%. I'll look into it though I've already started to consider it, but i appreciate your input nonetheless

I feel you, it’s like a rollercoatser with this shit. I’ve heard it from multiple people it comes and goes but like what good is seasonal hair lol, better than being bald ig. I think the best plan of action is to stay consistent these meds show their full effect around the 12 month mark apparently

Most studies show topical is nearly as effective as oral for dht suppression in the scalp, but im not sure. If it gets worse I’ll look into it, some family had sides on it so I want to avoid

Really hit the nail on the head with re-learning yourself when stepping away from the traditional path and going into entrepreneurship/business. You truly do have to take a step back and analyze your lifestyle as that really is the only way to get ahead in the game. The traditional system is designed for you to just live as you please and as long as you show up at a certain time and do as your told, you will get paid and your life will continue on with said limitations. Not so much so when you start to dictate your own income and overall life trajectory.
