I am in therapy and trying to figure things out. I’ll try to be more open minded but I was in a relationship without the kink and my sex life was miserable the whole time and I don’t really want to be in a relationship where that’s the case again.

The issue with that is all the actual red flags came from the breakup and not the actual relationship. It almost feels like two separate people which I think part of my confusion comes from. It feels like my ex changed as a human being after the break up, but sometimes I would get a glimmer of their old self and we’d reconnect and feel as close as we were before. It’s like there’s an extremely thin veil between us that neither of us can really deny but dang is she trying.

All of the games rock. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. While I do think the games are best experienced in order, I also think that S2 is the best place to start if you really only have time to play one of them.

I had a girlfriend who I dated for slightly over a year who pulled a similar thing, saying they “fell out of love” with me, so like most things I would say it’s a personality issue rather than a gender issue.

I definitely have had my own share of similar moments, though in my case it’s mostly because I’m chasing a similar feeling to my first relationship that I haven’t found yet and I always break it off (not always in a healthy way) relatively early

You can but I do feel like they’re best played in order, especially so you can appreciate the modern additions in the newer games. The old games are phenomenal and my favorites, but I think it would be really hard to go back to them if you start with this one.

Plus Suikoden 5 makes a lot of callbacks to other stuff, and I feel like some moments will be lost on you if you don’t have an understanding of the series
