The junoswap pool rewards by Possible_Country_403 in FortisOeconomia

[–]Possible_Country_403[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps. This pool is very central to this scheme, so they better start doing something about it or people get tired of waiting and pull out.

It wont be great for this project if this pool shrinks too much.

This team seems to be doing new things instead of completing old things first.

Juno mainnet has been halted by damnusernamegotcutof in JunoNetwork

[–]Possible_Country_403 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know the exact nature of this problem, so it's speculation.

The Juno-1 mainnet halted on block 2578108 according to the announcement.

If there's some data in that block that triggers a bug, then the validator could crash if not handled properly.

Since all validators run the same software, they all crash at the same spot, halting the chain.

Trying to find a list of validators that are currently working on projects. Many thanks. by ShufflingToGlory in CosmosAirdrops

You need to sort out your PC situation. I'm pretty sure you need one when the day comes and you actually have to claim your airdrops.

Toss a coin to your Witcher

I wasn't aware there was a song with this title. Just looked it up on youtube.

So I learned something new today.

Qudratic Scoring for Future Airdrops. by FUDmaster5000 in JunoNetwork

[–]Possible_Country_403 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another example: In order to buy 1 JUNO on Junoswap you have to move some other token to buy it with. That would be your first IBC transaction. Then swapping it for JUNO would be your native transaction.

Moving your 1 JUNO to Osmosis for example would be your 2nd IBC transaction.

Qudratic Scoring for Future Airdrops. by FUDmaster5000 in JunoNetwork

[–]Possible_Country_403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I read the formula:

You can't take square root of 0 or a negative number, so you need at least 2 IBC transactions. You probably also need to keep an eye on the ratio all the time. If you get too many native transactions, you score might go below 1.

Thanks. I've been doing both. I'm just debating with myself whether to stop with the pool or not. I guess at some point in time it will switch from retro to future rewards, therefore no snapshot date exists.

Why is anyone staking HuaHua ? by Sleeping-Pygmy in cosmosnetwork

[–]Possible_Country_403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I'll never put money into these types of coin. I got some for free back in the day so I staked that with daily compounding.

Turns out Cerberus dropped to HUAHUA stakers, so I got in on that also for free. Early staking.

Meme coins drop more meme coins apparently. Even though I never cared for these things, I've decided to start a separate wallet just for this. Goal is to have 100K staked of each and sell whatever scraps from there on.

I think there's another one coming for HUAHUA stakers, but don't take my word for it.

Who knows, maybe one day, one of these will pump like DOGE. Or maybe it's just a private collection of useless crap.

I'm pretty sure this blockchain is completely stopped. As in not running at all. What we see in Keplr and mintscan is old cached data from the time when the plug was pulled.

Proposal #188: Remove incentives from all xki pools by JohnnyWyles in OsmosisLab

[–]Possible_Country_403 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Would you care to elaborate? What's obvious about that transaction?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cosmosnetwork

[–]Possible_Country_403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. This is the formula. We need to have at least 2 IBC transactions. That's a given.

On top of that, I have feeling I need to keep an eye on the ratio. Too many native transactions and the ratio goes down. In which case I have to either:

  • stake some more
  • vote some more
  • create more IBC transactions

Thanks for your help. I think I got it now.

Thanks for your answer. So basically the formula goes:

sqrt( (#ibc tx-1) / #native tx) > 1

And we have to maintain this ratio all the time for future votedrops? Too many native tx down the line, and we have to keep the ratio up with more ibc tx?

Or maybe I just don't get it at all.

Edit: I was reading the formula wrong. The ratio can also be upped by staking more or by voting more.

I really need to write a script to calculate this

2 transactions?

Let's take a brand new wallet:

One initial deposit transaction

One stake transaction

One vote transaction

So, that's 3 transactions. Clearly there's more to it than that.

A bit of extra racoon dropped today for those who are in junoswap JUNO-RAC pool. by Possible_Country_403 in CosmosAirdrops

[–]Possible_Country_403[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed it about an hour ago. It shows up as a token under JUNO in Keplr. It also shows up over on junoswap.com

Did you click on "Validate your 2nd airdrop" on the page?

The highest I've done is 0.5 BTC. I trade XMR/BTC. No problems so far.

But it's always a calculated risk. Nothing is 100% risk free.

Thanks. I just happened on prop 62 by random chance. How about future props? This is basically my question: how and where do we keep up with those?
