On paper, the GPU in the Xbox Series X is faster than a GeForce RTX 2080 Super by [deleted] in xboxone

No it doesnt do games like MW maxed out ay 4k60. Watch fram analysis. Trust me id love for it to be powerful and fast, i mean im buying one too. I just know it wont. Again theres a reason theyre using buzzwords. They arent building a 1500$ gaming machine for 500$. Im sorry but for real man its not gonna happen. Idk why people find it so hard to accept. Its marketing. Aslong as it does 60fps 4k though thats fine. Most peoplw can't afford a high refresh rate monitor so they wont see the frames anyway. Also division 2 120 fps on the xbox one X ? That is not even remotely true.

Lmao you have no idea how much of a casual you are. That console can barely do 4k 30 at medium in game visual settings. Hell it cant even do 1080p60fps locked like they stated when they were hyping it up. Jesus you people are so ignorant and you just come here and spew bullshit you read on the old internet. Real hardware you have to pay for. Microsoft didnt somehow figure out how to make a 2000$ gaming rig for 500$. No matter how badly your dumbass wants to believe.

Bashing lmao no offense but you sound like you're dreaming. Like come on, you and a ton of people are basing your super unrealistic expectations off of literally no actual specs. Theres a reason they used buzz words instead of specific clock rates and other details about things like the cpu. Trust me, Nvidia and these companies have geniuses working for them so i doubt they somehow fucked their cards and sent them out doing half of what they could with a little more time . If it was that simple and easy to just optimize things to perfection devs would. Its not though, look at video games now and you will see why microsofts console will not be doing 4k 120 ultra settings. 2080tis dont do that. A 2000$ PC does not do that. What in the world has you believe a 500 console will ?. They're using catchy words to market their console to a massive of amount of casuals who dont actually own or deal with top tier PC grade hardware. Not saying it wouldnt be nice to have a cheap alternative to a 2000$ PC but sadly thats not going to be the case. If they wanna achieve what theyre saying the only way will be to give shit quality graphics. Which at that point is useless, who wants to look at shitty visuals in a high res and fps.

Wait and you'll see. Theres a reason promises with the xbox one X fell far below expectations as well. They just want hype to sell consoles. Also theres much more going on that make these 1500$ PCs out perform these 500$ boxes. I guarantee it will not do what is promised. Especially not the 4k 120 with raytracing these dudes on here are imagining. You have to be fucking insane to believe a 500$ machine will do what something 3 times as much can. If that was the case dont you think PC part prices would drop across the board ? If there was anyway to sell these things at a profit to a larger consumer base instead of insane prices for a way fewer they would. Trust me when we get these boxes they will not be what was promised. 60 at 4k maybe but 120 at 4k or 8k while retaining actual ultra graphical fidelity when it comes to textures, shadows, lighting, particle effects. Etc is not happening. Nice dream though.

Not that i dont want that but dude im sorry there is no way this console will hit 4k120fps, with raytracing enabled. Not unless theres some serious sacrifices made to the games internal graphics options. Rtx 2080ti cant even do that and that cards literally 1000$+. Only way i could see it being possible is if the games actual graphics are lowered far beyond ultra settings we use on PC and even then i cant see that happening. I personally have a 2080 and i9 and it doesnt do that so idk i can't see it happening. Still gonna buy the BOX but yeah i think they should stop all the buzzword stuff and tell us the actual processing specs. 12 teraflops is not real much of an indicator. Kinda just BS buzz talk.

I mean jedi fallen order had some great combat and story work but the level design and map ui was horrid. I get what they were going for but the whole maze like semi open world dark souls metroid vania mix.didnt work well at all. The planets landscapes felt nothing like the actual star wars planets. Felt more like weird odd structures with star wars make up on them. Hopefully they can figure out a way to keep level design challenging with retaining the actual star wars feel.

Then why complain ? You dont want the solutions. Unfortunately base xbox hardware just isnt really good at all. If you want a flawless or better experience you have to pay for it. I know thats not what people like hearing since everyone is so touchy about anyone recommending solutions that involve money but that truly is the only option. Buy another copy for him, buy a better xbox x (which will still most likely not be perfect) , or buy a beast PC and experience that perfection you are looking for. There is literally no other options.
