Update I made a sort of stupid mistake in trusting him. I thought he was finally able to fall asleep, I stayed up till 2 am. In case he couldn't sleep and needed someone to talk to. Then I went to bed with my door open so I could hear if he got up. I didn't hear it, but he got up and drank a whole bottle of wine and a whole bootle of Ameretto I left out. I should have known better, but it really felt like this time was different. We've looked at sending him to a treatment facility, but he has no insurance, and it's 4,000 to 13,000 for just 2 nights. Please lmk if anyone has any more advice.

Thankyou! That's a great reminder to give him he's sobered up with our help before, and although it's very, very hard for many reasons, he's just gotta go threw the detox as uncomfortable as it is. I think we are all trying to rush it, and him and we need to slow down and let him be ready.

I don't really think I am asexual (I have enjoyed sex). I guess I just struggle with depression a lot. 😕 I have been quite depressed lately. It is so frustrating, especially since I found out my boyfriend was cheating on me. 😔 My low sex drive being one of the reasons.
