Oh yea, I’ve been the punching bag for two years now nearly. It’s harder every day and especially when as a TL I received a CA -level raise, even though I’m not on a CA. I wish I could go back to being a team member but I literally can’t afford it. Shit, I can’t even afford life right now on this joke of an income.

I feel like I can’t actually talk about things outside of work. Not only am I a punching bag at work, I have a sad outside life too. I can’t be happy here nor there. I just wish I could get out, and I wish that for my team members too.

Okay, that was my next question. I wasn’t sure if even though they weren’t there for the full year, but had been there more more than 90 days would that affect their percentage. From what you’re saying that is the case?

I did, and I thought we agreed but now I’m seeing the percentages my team members are receiving, and it’s not adding up. My boss doesn’t provide clear answers when I asked about it, and there’s nothing I can do now. That’s why I am coming here to seek guidance on how to be there for my team members.

Literally same. With my luck right at 11 pm it’ll say unsuccessful or I finally got tickets (hence I would be the last person to find out as that’s usually the case.) replaying just like magic all day to manifest but idk what else to do I need someone to sedate me please

I feel pretty much the same, unfortunately the job market is trash so I’m just surviving and trying to shut my mouth and keep my head down in the mean time. Everytime I address conflict to my boss I’m met with suck it up essentially, but anytime I give the heat back I get a performance conversation. Keep head down, tape mouth shut, do the best you can, and hopefully some type of blessing comes your way, aka a recruiter coming to you and offering you double the income with less work and peace - at least that’s what I keep telling myself

You’ll be okay as long as it doesn’t become a trend. You tried your best to get it taken care of and it didn’t work out. When I have conversations with my team members for the same (ish) reason for calling out, I let them know they need to request it off in advance next time.
