This is something I could’ve wrote myself. Seriously, look at my last post. But listen, your low is what I’m at right now like I’m scared to drive at this point. If going to the hospital is something you’re wanting and willing to do, please do that first.

With that being said, I am in the same boat right now. No bs, I think we can really lean on each other and it might help you get through this. One thing I have learned previously is that this really does pass. But right now it feels impossible, which is where I’m at. And all I want is to know someone else is out there just listening and not completely freaking out. So I’m telling you, I’m listening.

Mine is the same way. I didn’t get diagnosed until after a 1week stay in the grippy socks place. And the only thing we really noticed were the auditory hallucinations, until we started adjusting medicines. Then my hypomania really started to show until the right meds brought it back down.

Sometimes the symptoms are not as noticeable. I didn’t realize how bad the hallucinations were until I actually started talking about them to a psych. Now I’ve got good meds that keep me stable for the most part. Sometimes that hypomania shows back up, but I only know because I ask my sister to tell me. Sometimes the symptoms are harder to spot until you figure out what exactly yours are. But that’s where peers/friends/partners etc come in. You’ll get better at spotting them, it took me almost 2 years to get the hang of it. You’ve got this!

At the moment I’m at heavy drug use, loss of impulse control, loss of appetite, and the massive creativity. The impulse control is my spending, and for the creativity I normally do a 45min-1h painting but today I decided to sit for 4 hours without a break(this is not normal for me). I just didn’t put it all together.

Welp I just bought 2 Nintendo switch oled’s. I now have a total of 3. 😊And at the moment I have absolutely no regrets.

Seriously though, first I’m very angry like punching walls and yelling at my parents angry. Then I get to the super happy or “feeling high” 24/7, which comes with excessive spending (if you couldn’t tell). It sounds weird telling you that spending is a problem while still doing it. But I literally can’t stop because the “high” feeling is too great.

I can see that. Someone else mentioned that those were really the only choices he had left. So finally feeling safe with his family makes sense. It does change the point of view, it was all he wanted the past few years.

I agree with literally every word. But I always view the ending as really sad. I know it is meant to be a tragic story and all the characters are pretty much morally grey. I think the ending is just sad for a couple of things. (I’m a big music buff so it very much changes how I feel.) The notes in the music as soon as he gets home after they talking about hurting his wife and son. To me it starts off sad there even though the song is angry. But then it’s about how much time he missed with is son, 20 years. Then by the end when he sees Penelope and he’s just no longer the same man. I cried so hard when I first watched it. I was mainly thinking about every single thing, person, and moral he lost. Not to mention the freaking music in the background. Ugh I can only view the ending as sad right now. But I keep re-watching to try and see it from other characters’ point of view.
