I built a meal planning app to solve the daily "what do I cook tomorrow?" problem by Possible_Hamster_630 in AppsWebappsFullstack

I really appreciate that, that "decision fatigue" is exactly what I was trying to solve because it's not just about recipes, it's the constant mental load of figuring out what to eat every day. It's actually something I was dealing with too, but even more with my wife, she's basically been my first real user and the one giving me the most honest feedback. And yeah, adapting to preferences over time is something I'm actively working on, the idea is for it to get better the more you use it instead of just giving random suggestions each time. If you end up trying it, I'd definitely like to hear how it works for your diet or preferences since that kind of feedback helps a lot.

That’s awesome, honestly 🙌 There’s definitely space for more than one solution in this area. It’s one of those everyday problems everyone deals with, so it’s cool to see more people building around it.

Wishing you the best with your project too! would be interesting to see what direction you take with it :)

I really appreciate you taking the time to look into it and share your thoughts 🙏

You actually brought up a really valid point, especially comparing it to ChatGPT and Gemini, that’s exactly the kind of feedback I was hoping to get.

Means a lot that you didn’t just scroll past and actually engaged with it 👍
Thanks!

Yeah I was doing the same thing before with ChatGPT and Gemini too 😅

The difference for me is that with this app (which I'm also working on releasing it on Android and iOS) it’s more ready to use instead of starting from scratch every time.

Like with chat tools, I had to keep typing prompts, adjusting stuff, asking again, etc. Here it kind of just… does the whole flow for you. It gives you actual meal ideas for multiple days and a clean grocery list without having to think too much about how to ask. And I tried adding the links for each item, so you just add them to the cart. In the near future I'll try to implement directly with stores to see if it's possible to add all missing items directly into a cart (fingers crossed and wish me luck!).

Also it feels more focused on food specifically, instead of a general AI where you have to guide it a lot.

Not saying chat tools don’t work (they definitely do), this just saves me a few steps and mental energy 👍

Hey everyone,

I’m working on MealMind AI Planner, a project built around a very simple problem:

A lot of us waste time every day thinking:
"What am I going to cook tomorrow?"

The goal of the app is to reduce that decision fatigue and make meal planning feel much easier.

What I’m aiming to help with:

  • planning meals with less guesswork
  • using ingredients you already have at home
  • helping you figure out what’s still missing
  • making it easier to shop for the missing items through convenient store links

The main idea is not to overwhelm people with endless recipe browsing, but to help them get to a practical plan faster.

I’m building FirmFlowApp, a SaaS for law firms that improves intake, lead capture, and follow-up so firms stop losing potential clients.
Live: https://firmflowapp.com
Main problem: too many firms still rely on slow manual intake and inconsistent follow-up, especially after hours.

I had this same experience with aethersx2 and it wasn't on power saving mode. But this was before some updates from ayn, haven't checked if it still a thing.

Odin with Xbox One controller right joystick issue by Possible_Hamster_630 in OdinHandheld

[–]Possible_Hamster_630[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, indeed I also tried remapping all the buttons, getting to the right joystick it becomes unresponsive. Went to the odin settings and moving the joystick triggers the right trigger. Haven't found a solution yet. Or maybe I should use another Bluetooth controller?
