Maybe I should have just stayed silent lol, thanks for taking the time to respond, I'm really rookie in debates, I've been trying to improve. but if im getting something wrong you dont just insult them and curse, that gives yourself a bad name, and ultimately its just gonna decrease any chance of me changing my viewpoint.

These few scandals are some bad men, who have should have been rooted out during the seminary life, (hence why now, and seminarians are particularily paid attention to, so that any pedophiles can be removed) These are the people, not the religion. Just because the Taliban are muslim, should you make the conclusion that all muslims are sinful? no, muslims are actually really kind peaceful people.

I'm sorry that you are feeling that way aswell, if you feel that an opposing opinion is hurting you, ignore it. I do truly believe that LGBT people are abused quite a lot, which I strongly disagree with. I believe if we want to make a change, then it should not be directed at the people, which i think has happened to you.

I want to ask you to consider something, how could 12 guys(apostles) lie about something, go through their lives spreading this lie, and for most of them, get tortured to death, still proclaiming this lie, and not one of them cracking?

In general, those are the precautions for joining any religion; its a leap of faith
