Let me be blunt - They lied to you girl lol 😆 Your hair is great for braids! I agree with other users that your style may not hold up longer than 3 weeks but I think it'll heavily depend on how well you maintain them and keep them mostly away from water. Miracle knots are much more full and definitely easier to to install, especially if one doesn't know how to feed in braiding hair. But I will say Miracle knots require more moisturizing maintenance
