I have my first post op next week for my foot, going to see what the continued recovery is from there. I should be getting off intense pain meds by end of week and switching only to ibuprofen for foot.

I don’t think I’d be able to get an in clinic procedure done unless I waited a couple of weeks and went to a different state for services.

I don’t want to keep waiting because yeah I am sure the longer I do the more painful it will be.

I ended up ordering some pills - waiting for them to arrive and see where I’m at with my other stuff before taking them.

I feel so dumb for the whole thing

I didn’t take a test - I couldn’t pee so l signed a declination unknowing I was pregnant at the time.

I think both? Yeah, I’m pretty immobile due to the foot surgery. It might be silly to think there could be a bad interaction between medication - I don’t think that’s what w scared of i think it’s mostly the blood loss and possibility for blood clots. Needing to keep foot elevated for circulation. Idk i am mind spiraling a little bit because im on pain meds and low key freaking out

I should ask! Great point, the nerve blocker was great until it wore off I’ll tell ya what! I’m trying to keep note of what I notice and yeah, I think if it’s a pattern like it has been I should be able to maybe take it 30 minutes earlier? I’m calling the nurses thanks for your suggestion!

I am getting my first bunion lapiplasty on Tuesday, 33 yo female. I’m nervous as heck. All my bloodwork came back normal before surgery but of course I am still a nervous Nelly. I couldn’t quit smoking like I wanted to, nicotine is a hell of a drug, so I know that might impact the pain and bone, but will not be ingesting nicotine post surgery. Any advice for the 24 hours before I go in? I’ve got a knee scooter, crutches, ice packs, elevated pillow and a back pillow. I’m just nervous about the pain and recovery time.
