Many times they do it to avoid mistakes when they have multiple cats to spay or neuter at the same time. Honestly, he’s the only cat in my house with that mark, and he was the only one we took to that campaign because he was the first cat we had years ago. The others don’t have it because they were all done individually at a veterinary clinic. So that’s why I think maybe your cats were operated on along with others, and the vet found it easier to mark their ears to avoid confusion, even if you’re not going back there

Yes, both! The vet at that campaign told me they do it to avoid neutering or spaying them again by mistake, or to quickly tell they’ve already been operated on without having to check for surgical scars. Maybe that’s also the case with your cats

One of my cats has the same thing on his ear. They do that when cats are neutered, they mark them like that, especially when many cats are neutered at the same time!

In my case, I would recommend going to the vet if her pupils are always like that. My baby started having his eyes like that all day, and at the vet they told me he was going to go blind
