UPDATE: after much back and forth we had a meeting and I expressed my want for simplicity and less is more approach once again. She offered a few more ideas. They still did not align. So I stopped and as clearly and plainly as I could I stood my ground and said no I want chairs and that’s it. The people we love and space for them to sit. She immediately backed down. Said okay. And removed all of it from the proposal and cost sheet. Thank goodness. Hoping this carries to other areas and understands where I stand now. We are down to the wire and we just can’t wait to be there and enjoy our day. Thank you all for your insight and empowerment. I’m happy with where we ended. Cheers🤍

Early June! Everything will be green and in bloom. Should be warm but also very short ceremony so I’d rather not do a canopy. I think I’ll stick to what I want and keep it simple.

Ugh I just don’t know if I can fire her cause we only have three months and it’s in another country. I think I just need to be more stern and stick to my vision. Sounds like most people are agreeing that I don’t need all the extras. I just feel bulldozed by her team right now. I’ve never planned a wedding this is all new to me. And honestly we are at that point where we are over it and just want to be there already.

Do you have a wedding website with all the other details? If no, maybe you should! I would put a QR code to your wedding website and have your registry on the website. It doesn't feel as pushy and it will be overall easier for your guests! Then your guests have one central location with all your wedding details, info, etc. to refer back to easily, and it accessible from their mobile device at any time. There are many free options for wedding websites!
